    General, to me your comment that we don't have to sell GB to fund our transfer kitty is sweet music. This way if LFC don't come over with the required sum (I would be looking at 20m cash only now, no players, well maybe Torres plus 10m for GB) we should then start our season with a bunch of new players of good quality plus GB great result. Bring in the new boys and hope LFC havn't got 20m to buy GB

    General, just to get away from all the speculation, transfers,europe etc. On a social note what are the plans for The Holte Suite for next season. This has become a great facilty but is oversubscribed for all matches now. Bar can't cope, not enough tables and chairs. Foods excellent, but eating a carvary meal sat on the floor is not great. Not a criticism. Victim of it's own success. Just wondered if another such facility or facilities could be brought on stream for season ticket holders to relieve the burden on The Holte Suite. Anything planned ?

    You have to once again question MON'S squad selection and substitutions. No way should we surrender a 4-1 lead. Where was Patrick Berger tonight, an extra bit of experienced flare to work Spuds defence. No we have to find a spot for Petrov or Harewood. 2 points lost and 5th place. Just like last weeks debarcle against the Foxes. Come on Martin you can do better than this.

    I feel this guy never showed passion for AVFC, he had so many games where he never actually turned up. The fact MON never used him tells you what he had to offer this club NOTHING. One freeloader off the wage bill bring in players with flair and passion. Villa moving forward.

    every team we play has the referee in their back pocket, whether home or away, is this a hangover from Deadly Doug or just the media convincing everyone that Aston Villa F.C. is not really big enough to be be in the premier division (For God's sake WHUFC are far bigger than us aren't they !) We have to work hard to get back the respect of rest of the football world & the media that we are in the top 5 of the greatest clubs in English football, which we truely are. Villa forever

    Great performance from the lads today after Wednesday with the injuries thought we may take a tonking but well done again MON 3rd place and lookin good lets keep it goin. PS any of you North West lads live in Southport. Reason asking met a couple on a cruise in August from Southport who said had a Villa fan live opposite them just intrigued to know it might be one of you if not you need to recruit this guy as he's on your doorstep. Up the Villa
