rooney and ash young very poor
terry has been great so far this in all the games, tho Zlatan gave him a couple of nervy moments. right choice taking him and not Rio.
we look solid though, no chance we will go much further but at least we look like we care for a change.
We are so poor at keeping possesion, almost Villa like in the way we just dont look comfortable stringing passes together.
I think Terry has been the poorest of him and Lescott. Has got out several times in the three games so far. Really struggling against pace. Covered well for the non goal in the end but his man left him for dead to create it. Lucky to not give a Peno away as well.

That is just a terrible decision

John O'Shea was an absolute disgrace tonight, should have been sent off and all over the place, McGEady wasnt much better
Sad when u see how poor we were and the players we didn't bring. Dunphy for once made some interesting points after the game about how Rodgers and Lambert had done so well with average players. Even bugged up Ciaran Clarke and said he should be there.

What is going on with Ballotelli there?
He wanted to say something to the manager about being dropped and some player wisely stopped him. Not a lot of love between him and the coach.
-
He s had a lot of time to think about it and probably a lot more in the future.
-
See earlier comment on how John o Shea is shit.

Mick McCarthy's cynicism knows no bounds, it's actually amusing listening to him whinge and moan about theatrics and the state of football today.
In fairness the amount of soft frees in this game is staggering.
-
Italy are really poor under pressure. As much as it pains me to say it I think England could take them.
-
John o Shea really is dirt

Got the official mail from the club there about the new kit.
However when I click the link it re directs me to the Barcelona club shop.
Hmmmm

And that is why Paul Green has no club.

I know let's bring on an unemployed journeyman footballer.

Great save by Shay

Won't happen but he should bring on McClean an Long and just go for it, nothing to lose.
At least we would have a go at them then.
-
Andrews is awful
Ward is worse, no wait Whelan is, and so on.
Some of our passing is retarded.
-
God we are shit to watch. It's like last season at Villa all over again.
-
Good result for England. Realistically France should be Sweden leaving Sweden with only pride to play for in the last match.
-
Easily one of the worst, most one-sided, refereeing performances I've seen.
Defended well, fluke goal. I'll take a point.
You sound like an Irish fan now. Least you lot managed a draw at least after being largely outclassed.
-
Good game to watch as a neutral. England look good on the attack but seem to have no midfield at all. Whilsire is a massive loss to this team.
-
Ireland are a very ordinary team no one is doubting that and while they were outclassed last night the manner of the result flatters Croatia. They owned the ball in midfield yet apart from two slices of luck for two of the goals rarely created any clear cut opportunities inside the box. If the penalty had been given would have been a different game.
Don't get me wrong it's obvious they were better but a lot of knee jerk reactions here. Their defense was very shakey especially Corluka at centre back who gave away stupid foul after foul. They also looked very weak under crosses. Keith Andrews in particular had 2-3 great chances near the end but unfortunately suffered the liabity of being total shit.
In reality out tournament is over and all we have to look forward to is maybe snatching a draw from one of the two remaining games.
-
Probably shouldnt have been a free kick for Irelands goal either if we are being picky.
You sure? Looked a quiet straight forwarded push in the back.

**** me how was that not a peno

First hour great, second hour average.
Why use Guy Pearce if you weren't going to have him being made younger at some stage?
Why not just use an old actor?
I reckon a lot of stuff ended up on the cutting room floor as the they tried to make a 3-hour cut into a 2-hour action movie.
First thingI thought to.

What really pissed me off was that mug trying to say that they weren't doing nazi salutes.
Yes they were just pointing at the team trying to make themselves noticed.

England should beat Italy. When Ireland put it up to Italy in the second half they really shook them up and were unlucky not to score. I can see England causing them huge problems.
