  1. Problem for New Zealand is that the Aussies and South Africia should all be on that side of the draw. The result by Ireland throws it all in the air.

Then again be just like us to win today and lose to Italy.

  2. Saw Cowboys and Aliens this evening. Not a great film.

It started very well but lagged an awful lot and was a bit of a mess at times. Even Daniel Craig and the hot woman from house couldn't save it.

On a good note it did have possiblely the greatest add ever before it in the previews.

Might not be the safest for work though.

  3. Saw Planet of the Apes, thought it was utterly brilliant from start to finish. The only thing missing was Tim Burton sitting in the seat beside me, I would have very much enjoyed punching him in the face every five minutes for the utter tripe he unleashed upon us a couple of years back.

Same here very good film despite a few plot holes. Some nice homage's to the original.

And see what happens to Draco Malfoy when you leave school early without any qualifications. There s a lesson to be learned here for all of us.

  4. While I agree the effects were poor at times, especially the air scenes and the timelines and characters were off I thought it was the best of the four previous films so far. I thought Faussbender was excellent and had a good strong Irish accent to at times which is always a plus.

I thought it was far better than Thor which was poor enough in my opinion and had some very weak characters.

  5. Saw Xmen first class tonight and really enjoyed it. Best of the Xmen films for me so far.

The two leads in Charles and Magneto were excellent and loads of nods to the previous films.

  6. I can understand MON walking out being responsible for some of our early poor performances but to keep blaming him for results like yesterday is just ridiculous.

Redknapp didn't have a preseason with spurs or any chance to sign players and he got off to a great start as soon as he took over. How on earth did he manage such a thing?

Had a transfer window in 2 months were he paid huge money for Defoe, Palacios and Keane.

    Houllier never had a window

    From the ever reliable wikopedia.

Spurs had secured only two points from the first eight games of the season prior to Redknapp's arrival and lay bottom of the league, but in his first two weeks in charge he took the club out of the relegation zone, winning ten out of the twelve points available with wins against Bolton Wanderers, Liverpool and Manchester City and a remarkable 4–4 draw against North London rivals Arsenal.

All done before he had a chance to invest in the team.

  7. Obviously then Kurt joining TNA to spend more time with his family backfired as his wife went off shagging Jeff Jarrett and left him.

He left WWE for his refusal to obey the wellness program and addiction to pain killers. Probably one of my fav wrestlers of all time but a genuine physco.

  8. I think I've read all of Terry Pratchett's disc world novels (over 30) I just find the characters amusing and the way it's a piss take of real life.

I shall wear midnight is out in September I think on Amazon looks like a witches novel.

One of the greatest writers out there.

  9. Saw Predators tonight aswell and have to say as a fan I was let doen by this. It wasnt bad but it wasnt great either.

How thick are predators? Ultimate hunters my ass.
