I don’t think Bruce was a safe option. I have never thought he was worthy of managing our fantastic club. Bruce was another manager who had never proven himself capable or worthy of managing a club like ours. Not surprising then that he too has failed. He was slightly more worthy than Smith but not much! Think small and you will never progress beyond an acorn! Think big and the World is your oyster! I always wanted to be an oak. I am a massive fu**ing oak. Be an oak with me and think bigger than Dean Smith.

This is such nonsense though, Liverpools strength is not that they are deluded its actually one of their worst qualities and why they are so hated. Theres a difference between dreaming big and being totally deluded. I get the point you are trying to make but its a very naive one.

Sorry but this is exactly the kind of thinking that limits us, none of that means anything in reality, literally nobody but us cares that we won a European cup 36 years ago. We don't need a big name manager at all, Bruce was seen as a safe option and look how that has turned out.

Yea, easy to bash on someone when youre losing i suppose but he looks very suspect.

Somehow hes got us into a position where we have 1 specialist recognised CB in the squad and a back 4 where 1 player is in his natural position. No wonder its a **** disaster. Yea you can go now Bruce as far as im concerned, almost 2 years later and we have just gone backwards.

Unacceptable start to the season, we'll see now if the new owners really mean business.

Im not sure he gets credit for delaying a deal, when were desperately securing a loan for the HRMC a month or so back im sure he would have sold Jack in a heartbeat if there was an offer on the table.

He was one of the top 5 CB's in the league last year everyone would agree surely? Got his downsides like anyone else but we'd be less of a team to lose him, especially to bloody stoke. Selling our best players to Stoke ffs.

Indeed, they haven't come in to buy it with their eyes closed, they'll know exactly what they want to do.

The statement said the injection of cash had been approved by the EFL not that they had as owners or anything, it seems that will come later.

The titles are almost certainly placeholders surely.

Whether you think it would be the right or wrong decision i certainly wouldn't have much sympathy for him if they did get rid.

Twitter has a lot of people saying Chester is very close and Adomah is just interest. Also a lot of people saying it doesn't matter how rich our new owners are FFP still has to be be dealt with and you cant just throw money at it so player sales could still be needed.

FFP has me furious the more i think about it too, cripple clubs in the EFL but clubs in the prem can just guy the league what a joke.

From what ive seen though it does look like we are planning on giving him a new deal? Have to say after all the abuse he got during the mcleish years and the whole bomb squad thing the way he fought back into the team i wouldn't mind him being given another year.
