Bloody hell. He had a bad game.
Maybe, but certainly early on he seemed to be needlessly over complicating things.

We didn't bottle tonight? Did you watch the game?
We were completely outplayed at home. If you have real aspirations you at least put some effort in. It was a complete and utter bottle.job tonight
I don't think it was a bottle job, I think we were far too complacent, probably a few players who should have been rotated too.

There haven't been many times this season when I've thought 'he could have done better with that shot', it is usually a complete and utter f@ck up when he is at fault, but I think he was questionable on certainly the first and maybe the second tonight. Also his aimless kicking was very annoying.

Looked like he is starting to believe his own hype.

It's another defeat where it isn't just the result that is hard to take, it's the performance attached to it.

At half time I still thought we would come back to at least get a point, but Bruce's decisions put paid to that i think.

I did not want that to happen.

I thought he was better in this game than he has been for a while.

Even though us, Cardiff and Fulham all won, the odds will have shifted very slightly to us. Our toughest game out of the way, one of Cardiff's easiest and one less game for Fulham to make up the points, plus we improved our goal difference.

I'm not keen on him as a defender but he really raised his game today, excellent.

You won't find many wingers who are up for the physical side of the game like Snoddy. Excellent today, a real warrior.

Looks a decent enough team to get all three points today.

Get well soon Tony.
Obviously people remember the Everton goal and the cross for Withe, but I love his second against Dynamo Berlin (starts about a minute in). And seeing on the replay the way the ball bobbles up before he slots it in certainly puts some perspective on recent comments about the state of the Villa Park pitch.

He was poor against Preston, possibly the injury, but I think more to do with not getting the overlapping support from Tuanzebe. Snoddy only really has one trick, he either cuts inside or releases the pass for the overlap. Without the overlap, the defender knows exactly what he is going to do, and he was dispossessed several times because of this. I'm not keen on Elmo at RB, but he does help out well with the overlap runs.

At least he got forward and tried to create when nobody else was. Ok, it isn't his strong point, but he had a whole team ahead of him that seemed incapable of creating anything in the first half.

Two big flaps...

Our midfield of him, Jedi, Thor and Hourihane is incredibly pedestrian, but he is capable of injecting a bit of attacking intent, he certainly wouldn't be the first one I would drop out of that four.

He has had one decent kick in about his last five games. He is probably worth playing in games where he will be able to stand on the edge of the box and take pot shots, but other than that he needs dropping.

Been very reliable on the left side, but was beaten for Fulham's first goal.
He got outpaced by Fredericks, but he is lightning. Not much he could have done about it.

It was a poor kick for sure, the Fulham lad finished it well, plenty wouldn't have, but the error certainly isn't typical of his overall displays. His kicking isn't the strongest part of his game, but that won't be the worst mistake he ever makes.

Fulham's interplay, passing and movement were always going to be a problem for us as Bruce just doesn't have the tactical ability/awareness to counter it..
Hopefully just a blip , but with us unfortunately you just can't tell... Momentum is key at this stage of the season....
Well he countered it pretty well in the first half, we looked quite comfortable. Different story once the first went in though, of course. I wouldn't want to see us play with that midfield again.

I thought his hair looked a little straggly today. One can only imagine what he might have been able to achieve had Bacuna and Amavi still been around to advise him on his coiffured magnificence.

Thought he was very good today, won the ball back numerous times. Could have done better when he had the chance to play Grealish in, but great apart from that.

He didn't go forward that much but made some useful forward passes, good game overall.

Exactly the same problem as Hogan in that he can't do anything without the ball. When will we learn and buy a striker who has the ball.
