    My predictions:

Taylor + cash in with Ayew out

    50% chance of Rhodes

95% chance of this mystery man Bruce mentioned (Hopefully a left winger but probably Alex Bruce)

    99% chance of Tishibola leaving

    65% chance of Westwood leaving

    50% chance of McCormack leaving

Its possible that the mystery man is a striker. Last time Bruce mentioned Rhodes he said  "It looks as if that's run its course. We tried our best to bring him in but that looks as if it's not going to happen."

    Tekkers would be nice! :-)

What the hell is a pre-signing medical? :D

That account (and all other ITK accounts) just talk complete rubbish. Funny how he had absolutely no word on the Bjarnason transfer from his source in the club.

Yes he did! You been living under a rock? This guy has called every deal on the summer window and this window before anyone else. Reason being that he IS the source at the club!

That's what I mean - the minus is the 2nd player with cash - would we really be saying Ayew plus cash for Taylor???

Ditto - Striker plus a back up/competition Left Back and a Centre Back would do very nicely :thumb:

(95%-(95%+X)) means (minus one player is 95% (plus one player 95% plus cash)

I read the first one as 1 in with 1 out plus cash not the other way round.

Ayew/Taylor swap doesn't really make sense IMO. There may be something separately but I do not think that's the player swap they are talking about.

I think he puts the - next to the percentage if its one out (as in minus one player from our squad) and a + if its one we are adding to the squad.

Aly went last week , taylor for me would probably be a more solid defender than amavi who despite his attacking forays down the left still is prone to defensive errors and caught often out of position.

Hes only out on loan though. I was responding to the question that Amavi might be leaving at the end of the season. Aly will be back with us then but I imagine he will be the one leaving on a perm

Taylor's a lb right? You think he is dropping down a league to battle for his position or is this because Amavi is as good as gone in the summer?

My guess is that Aly will be gone so Taylor & Amavi can compete for LB and cover for each other during injuries, suspensions and hectic fixture schedules. Plus I reckon Bruce may be tempted to try Amavi at LM

I think Rhodes is going to happen. Just a feeling

Me too. Hes clearly last in the pecking order at Boro so no sense in them paying his wages for the rest of the season if he wont play. Think they are just holding out for as much as they can get but will end up ripping someones arm off on Monday/Tuesday.

Why did Kievan feel the need to publish that?  There maybe was truth in it from a club perspective and they are getting out there that he isnt going.  In fairness why would anyone with any ambition sign for Boro.  Especially if you are a attacking player under their manager.

Because some guy on FB was saying Kevin had told him it might happen. He was making it up so Kev done his bit to set our minds at rest. Also partly due to a few villa fans making silly comments questioning Jacks loyalty, etc

My first post....had to have my tuppence in response to this Grealish thing, sorry guys.

Historically I have not been JG's biggest fan, not because I don't think he can play but mainly because of the hype surrounding him. As with all our bright young things, the kid was never going to live up to the hype! His off the field antics did not warm me to him either!

On reflection however, at 19 he simply wasn't ready for the premier league. To me that is blindingly obvious, but he was thrown into a really poor side surrounded by players with even worse attitudes, and a lot of fans just expected too much, myself included. This season however, if people don't see the difference when he is on the pitch then I don't think it's worth arguing with them. He is (was before splurge) the only player we have that can travel with the ball, that can carry the ball from midfield into the final third. Excellent example of the difference he makes was the game against Leeds. When he went off just gone half time, the game changed like switching a channel!

I'm struggling to remember the last time we produced a kid with the natural, effortless ability Grealish has. His dribbling skills are there for all to see, and yes whilst he does lack the electric pace and acceleration of some, his almost noncelent ability to ghost pass players is rarely seen in young english footballers. He also has superb vision and his passing at times is wonderful. Yes, he still makes a lot of mistakes and his decision making lets him down at times....he is still learning.

Until the recent splurge on new talent, we only had one player at the club that offered the kind of football brain and movement up front, of the kind I that I would expect from a club of our stature, namely Ross McCormack....and when JG and RMc were on the field together, not very often granted, you could see how Grealish was probably the only player that saw the runs RMc was making, who was on that wavelength. I felt they would shine given time.

There is no doubt in my mind that surrounded by the new midfield we have brought in, JG will look a completely different player. In my mind we should give him the old fashioned 'free role' in the side, floating behind the main striker. Lansbury and Hourihane can hold the midfield and just let JG do what he does. He will create. If Brucey sticks with 4-2-3-1, then for me JG will be perfect in the middle of the '3'. Bjarnason and Adomah alongside with Kodija up top.

For fans to actually want him sold is beyond me, it really is. Each to their own though I suppose. To call him a 'show pony' is insane....it's not Division 5 of the Festival League, lol!

Grealish has to stay. It's not even up for discussion in my view. We should be building the team around him over the coming years. He has a lot to learn and we have the right man in charge to keep him on the straight and narrow. As was mentioned earlier, if he ever does leave it will be to a far bigger club than Middlesboro....

Now if we received a bid for his old man, that would be a different story....!

Cant get rid of the old man, hes part of the matchday experience!
