I agree to a certain degree but on the other hand that means that a great policy ideas invented by Labour,  is then stolen by the Tories in full view of everyone and then implemented by a Government led by Boris makes Labour somehow weaker ?

Or what would the reason not to let anyone know what they are ? The Tories can't be totally incompetent as Nandy says if they are nimble and clever enough to steal ideas from the opposition and capitalize on them. (if that makes any sense ?)

I think the pessimism comes in due to the potential timeframe. Between when those policy are put in place take and then take effect means that something else will be a problem but the Tories will take the credit.

The Tories aren’t totally incompetent, far from it, despite the imbecile currently in charge. They just have 1 ideology: how to remain in power for their own benefit. It’s amazing how quick they can move if it means that if they don’t they will lose votes.

(Bit of a rant as they drive me insane) Shouldn't he and everyone around him already know this as a long term plan that the team know by heart and not only that but how to get there? Isn't it a bit weird he hasn't got a communicated vision allready?

They are up against Boris Johnson so its an easy win the tactic in interviews is the same as always.  a) Look at X the government has done / not done,  its outrageous.  Question "What would Labour do?" well..... b) When speak I to people up and down the whole country they ALL say to me "Made up sentence/viewpoint " c) And that is what I and Labour really care about is the "Made up sentence/viewpoint " that I keep hearing from everyone.  (Nandy comes out with this for everything and its pathetic) - If it was true they would be in power years ago.  It's just a lie they all come out with,  why look at polls if everyone up and down the country says the same as Nandy ?  (It really annoys me and is just trying to connect with people who believe anything they hear the 1%)

Pandemic,  War,  10% inflation,  PPE contracts,  130k dead and a Prime minister that gets fixed penalty notices.  Still in touch in 2nd place though so there is that.

Being devil’s advocates, what if they already know but don’t want the Tories stealing the ideas pre-election? Anything good done by the Tories for some time has generally been a Labour idea first.

    Orlando bruv.

We saw a crazy deal on Thursday, flew out Monday.

£1500 total for a week including flights from Birmingham, accommodation, luggage and transfers for 4 people.

We weren’t planning to go away but it was too cheap to say no to. We already had ESTA’s from a cancelled trip about 18 months ago.

That’s a damn good price for getting to Orlando!

Going there in September for a long delayed honeymoon so if you have any recommendations for food/attractions I would greatly appreciate it!

I may have mentioned part of this before and really it should be in the piss you off thread. My wife about the time of their first album, through to their third album loved Billy Talent. I didn't. I disliked them. Still do. But a good husband I went to see them with her, a midweek gig in Cardiff was hilarious, but I went as I love my wife. I saw them lots and never enjoyed them. Times changed, my wife listened to different bands and that was it. We stopped going to see them.

Fast forward to 2022 and my grandsons favourite band is Billy Talent. The **** is singing their tunes all the time, has them on in whatever car we are in. Has **** up both my Spotify and YouTube algorithm. That said, he does love them and I like to see him happy and so we are off to KKs Steel Mill in Wolves in June to see them. This will be his first gig, next week will be hist first festival. I expect him to be on my shoulders for the entirety and using my bald head as a drum.

Haha, I’ve literally just bought tickets to that show as well! The missus quite likes them and I always thought they were fine but a mate mentioned them so thought f*** it; it’s been a long 2 years without gigs!

Yep, I've never liked tea.. No idea why, my mom's is the same, but she has instant coffee with milk - I'll drink instant if it's all's that's on offer, but I use Pact filter coffees now at home.

I got it from my folks too. Mum can’t stick tea and my dad mainly drinks coffee too. Sister is a tea drinker so clearly she’s been adopted.
I’ve got a bean to cup at home but tried pact and found the coffee too light for my tastes. Realised I like a really dark roast.

I bet we have the same types of shit, Chris.

That's nice to think about, innit?

    Make that 3 ;)

Black coffee as well; can’t stick milk in coffee and can’t stand tea either but enjoy the smell of it at least.

The Black Dahlia Murder vocalist Trevor Strnad passed at 41. Huge band for me in my teenage years.

Sucks. Not especially a fan but big on the scene. From reading the post it seems to be suicide as well :(

I have tried to play Skyrim before.

    I love Fallout.

    I also love open-world adventures.

I love and enjoy RPG element games.

    Dragons are cool.

I've always struggled to get into Skyrim (PS3, XB1, PS4).

It's on sale on the Switch and I AM tempted - seeing as I love handheld consoles.

    Sell it to me....

Where did you get to when you tried before?

I’ve been replaying it recently and I’ve enjoyed it so much more this time around than when I played it before (PS3; now on PS5). I’ve basically just not bothered with the main quest line(s) and doing all of the random stuff with a mix of destruction magic and a war axe. Basically blow everything up until run out of mana and then slice them to death afterwards.

With the update side of things there are few additional quests as well which adds more content.

43% for mine too. They can do one. That's me out.

You're in the same boat as me. It's a massive jump I have to say. I probably will keep it but damn I enjoyed that cheaper seat!
