Have you ever tried Baseball? I went to see the Red Sox a few years ago, can't even remember who they played, but we walked out after an hour or so because it was so entertaining.

We (Belgium) have to get past Portugal, Italy & France (maybe Spain if they get their team rolling) to reach the finals. Any one of those teams could go on to win the tournament with the quality they have in their squads. The feeling here is we got the most difficult route possible, but should we manage we will fully deserve our place in the final. England vs. Germany should decide the other finalist.

Compare that to the potential road for Holland (our rivals  ) with Czech, Denmark and then England/Germany, I think they are quite happy

Let's see if there are a few surprises in the next round.

Denmark fully deserved to go through. First game they dominated and were then forced to play the second half in the weirdest state of mind for a footballer ever, otherwise they would have probably won. Against us, they deserved more than a defeat and were outdone by a brilliant KDB. Russia was well beaten.

Neither Finland or Russia showed anything to warrant a place in the next round, Denmark did. I don't epect a 'best 3rd' to be coming out of this group.

We only conceded because of an individual error too. The second was great finish from De Bruyne, but was a well worked team goal imo. The first one had a lot of effort from Lukaku as well, but the brilliant overview from KDB makes it pretty much his goal. So the team may not impress arm, but it’s not JUST individual brilliance.

I do agree Denmark deserved something from that game though.

If the players asked to continue to play, that is their right. But shouldn’t there be a mental coach or psychiatrist in the staff saying they are not in the right frame of mind. I’d be amazed if they can play 100% focused after what just happened.

Tricky group for Belgium, Denmark and Russia are at home and Finland first tournament so will be up for it. They should get through but i dont think its 3 wins from 3

I hope it’s not, we don’t want to become too much at ease. Maybe use the game against Finland to give the likes of Doku a start.

I do not like the new format. Pretty much everyone qualifies for the next round.

Belgium should win this with ease, even without Hazard, KDB or Witsel. Probably good for them to get game time though.
