Look, Matteo was crap at his job, we were only going one way and that was downwards. After the Preston game, he said we were making progress, cmon, you want someone with that ideology in charge when it was clear to see were awful. Just standing there with his arms folded when losing matches, no shouting at the players, no motivating the players. I admire Xia for acknowledging he made a mistake and is rectifying it quickly. If we gave Matteo another 10 games and we were sitting bottom of the league, everyone would be asking why he hadn't acted sooner.

My answer was in reply to Demitri_C's post, he said he would be very suprised if Wagner took the job. If he wasnt interested, he would surely have ruled himself out by now.

Totally agree. We score, then sit back against Brentford, they equalise. We sat back against Ipswich and they battered us the last 10 minutes. We score against Barnsley, we then sit back and the inevitable happens. We should be killing these games off and go for another goal.

Geting sick of this argument. This is the Championship for gods sake, we have virtually a new team, so all this 'hangover from last season and low on confidence from last year' is rubbish. Before we kicked off this season, and all the money we had spent, would you really have been happy if someone had predicted all these draws? Like someone said the other day, Di Matteo sets us up as if we have just been promoted from League One. We should be going for the kill in these games, not sitting back. Matteo has known for a few weeks that sitting back after we have scored doesnt work, but he repeatedly does it every week. I dont see that as progress.

Dont sit f*****g back all the time!! Attack teams from the start, when do we ever boss a game from the start? Seriously, some of the quality in the Championship is appalling, we could be beating these teams 2 or 3 nil every week if we played positively. Some people say it's a hard league, no its not, and it should not be with our quality. I watched the Friday night game on Sky the other week, think it was Reading, and the quality of football was abysmal. Sick of negative managers!
