Me too. I do love Rogue emailing. Me and a mate at the firm we used to work for got our hands slapped for doing this. There was this weird french guy who left his computer unlocked so we sent this hot girl who worked in our tax dept a few emails. Nothing offensive, just for laughs, but he complained and we got a ticking off. It was worth it though.

You see Malcolm, whilst I disagree with alot of that post, your sentiments and reasoning are clear. Many of your other posts have been diluted with sly digs and sweeping statements which don't make clear what the reason for your position is. And BTW, I think it is alot easier to blame the manager for our position than to give him time, or as you put it "sit on the fence".

Just a quick question, do you think you could find out how tall the reserve/youth team player Barry Bannon is? I have heard rumours of him being under 5 feet tall and just wondered?

What he hasn't done in my view is performed as well as some think he has and this none stop 'give him time', this wait until tomorrow spiel was always pathetic, and now its getting beyond belief.

I think O'Neill is one of the best managers in Europe and has performed to around the level I would expect a manager of his ability to do. If Alex Ferguson had taken over I wouldn't have expected much more. This give him time issue is logical and sensible if you ask me as it takes time to transform a team from relegation fodder to European challengers.

The difference is that you think a manager who is held in the regard that MON is should be producing more whereas I don't think any manager could do much more.

I think MON needs more time to take us to the level that I think we will reach which is at the minimum top 6. I always expected a season like this when MON was appointed.

Yeah, I think World Class may be an inaccurate way of phrasing it but we should certainly be signing top quality players such as Bent, SWP etc...

I do rate Koumas but there are better targets out there than him.

i reckon defoe is on again jol seems to favour berbatov and keane for sure now.If we can get SWP,reo-coker and defoe we will be top 6 for sure SWP and reo coker are realisticly within our grasp now add defoe on top and its party time.

Exactly, other wise players could stand on the goal line with their arms out stretched and as long as they don't move towards the ball it would be ok.

General I am in the away scheme and tickets always seem to be sent out long after being on general sale. The problem I have with this is, when tickets are sold out before I have even recieved mine I am unable to exchange/buy extra and sit with friends/family. I know its a silly little thing but I have been annoyed by this on more than one occasion.

For Fulham away I bought 4 tickets when they went on Priority sale. When they went on General sale (before I had received the tickets) I called up and said I want a few more tickets and have already bought 4. The lady I spoke to was helpful and sorted it so the other tickets were next to the ones I had already bought.

Aruna Kone is a good player although not prolific. Similar in stature and style to Obafemi Martins but not sure he would be as prolific. I would rather us sign a proven PL goal scorer though. Defoe or bent for me if we can't get Ashton.

I have been assured by someone who know his family that he does follow the Villa. They could be lying I guess.

People may already know this but I only just found out that Micah Richards is a Villa fan. With the right level of investment and demonstration of ambition it is not wholly unthinkable.

What are the odds on the current offending teams simply filling a few places in their squads with token nationals and playing the same foreigner leaden 1st teams!

In my eyes if they are to implement a law like this the rule should correspond to the 1st 11!

I am sure that in 2009 there is a minimum number of home grown players required in each squad. Can't remember where I saw that but I will try to find it!
