  1. The 250 is stunning, but its still the 308 for me. Probably the era. The F40 is basically a tarted up track version of the 288 / 308. Iconic, magnificent, lightning fast, but not as erm... road classy? Anyway, best nip this in the bud before we're told off.

Nobody linked is a bit worrying. Maybe we're good with what we've got. I can't see what option is available that improves us

Not worried about links as we're notoriously secret. That said, something usually seeps out just before so it could be the last 24 hours when we do our remaining business.
I reckon at least one high profile loan to buy amongst them.

  3. I'm not OK with not signing anybody else considering the deck clearing of the last week or so. I fully expect we'll make more signings. It is not sensible to sacrifice all the good work for the want of a bit more wise investment. For whatever reason, we're light on numbers.

Remote possibilty of a loan I guess...however, Barca need the cash so cant see that unless with an obligation - again brings us back to the fact that we cant afford that yet. If anymore come in we will be looking at Moreno-type deals in regards to outlay.

    It's not a fact.

I've never been a fan of transfer season but this has been the least enjoyable in memory. I enjoy the discussion based on players and tactics but the constant financial speculation and accounting talk isn't what I enjoy about football, and it seems now its taken a front seat as opposed to being a background consideration.

I hear you. Just skip past the armchair financial talk like I do. The club are minging with finance experts and know what they're doing. I don't care how they make it work, I just trust they will. Its the end results I'm interested in.
    Who we sign

That said, there's a lot to modern football and if some folk delight in talking finances, go for it. To me its like the dudes that mark their own scorecards at test matches when there's two **** off ones left and right of them. But if it feels good, do it.

For what it’s worth, an acquaintance of mine who works in football and has a relative that is an academy coach in Egypt told me his is a real talent.

Great. It would be a shame if he got here and realised he Karnak it.

Touch is missing that signature-DiCola epic synthesizer breakdown, of which Dare is probably the greatest example (just shading out Rocky IV's Heart's On Fire).

Yes, not something you could see Emery doing  - he seems a very careful man

Agreed. I think this one is done with maybe a "we have others in the list so don't take the piss" for good measure.

If that's the local rivalry talking then ok. However, for several years until very recently, they have been much better and smarter in the markets and on the pitch than we were. Seems a little harsh on the Dingles. The poor things have lots to worry about now, bless 'em.

On a related note, I really miss having Birmingham in the same division to take points off and have that local rivalry.

I'd say suspiciously corrupt rather than smart.
