    Said as much last night. For whatever reason, it just doesn't work. They both pair well with the other options, just not eachother.

    This goes back to Dean Smith's first season in the Prem and hasn't really changed.

    My word, he doesn't look that young. I liked how he pulled back that little git who ran off with the ball when we won a free kick. Time was running out and that was good awareness.

    I don't want to sound hard on them, and its all good experience. It was just a bit of a mess and disappointing to see.

    Trying to buy tickets through the website or app is just a nonsense.
    It shows availability (which I'm sure there isn't) in most of the ground but you cannot click anything, nor does choose for me work.

    Yeah some of their players looked older but we had a giant up against a midget in midfield too. And yes, their ground time / playacting was ridiculous. Especially their captain - what a total fanny.
    The ghosts of Marathon would be breakdancing in their graves, Theseus would be vomiting in disgust and Themistocles would be rolling his eyes and tutting.

    Lost. 1 - 0.
    We lacked control, lots of aimless long balls, poor decision making in the final 3rd, sloppy tackling. Looked tired and lacklustre over all.
    Pana looked very poor and just kept hitting us on the break but it worked so...

    Fair enough. You don't expect a lot of quality at this level but there wasn't any really.

    The numbers of NEW fans on the waiting list, I think most of them are members, who go to some games already. So I think a 50k ish capacity would be ok, anything bigger and I just don't think we'd fill it often enough.

    Right, I see.
    In my own experience,  I know a lot of people who are members - purely because its the only way to get tickets, but not on the waiting list. Many of these are parents of kids who want to go and so they go too. Many mates who are season ticket holders now have multiple kids who want season tickets, so yes they would be those who are members but want season tickets. My own extended family are mostly members who are happy to go to half the matches, a few existing season ticket holders.

    I don't see why my experience would be unusual, therefore I reckon there's some who are members who are on the waiting list, but many more who are not. Like, maybe 10/90 split.
    I hear from the club that there's over 35k on the waiting list. Now who knows how many follow through but most you'd think would or why bother?

    There's no point going around the houses on this. You either think the demand is there for big crowds or you don't, but I do and I think the evidence supports it.

    Mate, I'm sure its just the surprise warm weather cooking my brain or something but you've totally lost me. For what its worth, I understand my Mrs perfectly.
    The app is shite, gotcha. Agreed. I don't know how you're linking that to what we're talking about but OK.
