    For me:

    ------------------Gollini---------------------

    Hutton-----Baker-------Chester----Amavi

    -----------------Jedinak--------------------

    ------Bacuna------------Westwood-------

    Adomah---------------------------Grealish

    -----------------Kodjia---------------------

Subs: Bunn, Elphick, Gardner, Ayew, Cissokho, Agbonlahor, Tshibola

I'd like to have been able to put Gestede on that bench in fairness.

I worry for McCormack - I think he'll struggle to make the bench in our current system.

For me its Bacuna for Hutton and Tshibola in the middle (the place you have put Bacuna in)

Yup, with hindsight I feel the same way too. It's such a shame that money was given to a bloke who had no idea what he was doing.

On saying that though I really rate a lot of his other signings.  Chester,  Tshibola (when played!), Kodjia (who i saw for Bristol v Burton and was not overly impressed but has looked the real deal for us), Gollini (despite to be expected mistakes from a young keeper has looked very capable to me), De Laat (prior to injury looked very decent), Adomah,  Jedinak (after shakey settling start).

The only one I would say was a definite total waste was Mccormack for 12M on that age of player .

There's a bit of paper talk about him potentially going in January today.

Good. Waste of 12M cant see us getting much more than 5M if that .  What an absolute waste of money.

  4. Cant believe some of the reactions on here,  and let me say I am one who is desperate for us to win the FA Cup.  Growing up we were never in the final and it was always something I looked forward to each year so was so wanting us to be in it.

But I have come to the realisation we are not going to be winning this ,  this year or any year in the near future.  So it is all very meh.  This year the main thing for us is to be competitive in this league and this is a distraction we could do without considering we already have more games to play.

So for me I'm glad it is a "big" club  in a higher league as Id rather we get knocked out by one of them for a change.  Like I say,  meh.  Hope w dont get injuries or suspensions

Our goals tally is severely hampered by our inability to play through the middle, to have midfielders support the forwards, to have the ball played through the middle and create chances from around the box - our goals are long balls and individual moments of genius - which is nice - but a bit more cake to go with that icing will be required.

    could not agree more

When you have to select Hutton, Westwood, Gardner, Gaby or Gestede to make up the 11. Unless everything goes according to plan and the opposition doesn't have the cuth to suss you out, we can get away with it

He doesn't have to select all those players and certainly not all at once. He chooses to

  7. What are your thoughts on his appointment as England manager? For me it is totally underwhelming .  It is a political appointment.  The FA have invested loads in St George's park and one of their motivators for that is to find and develop the next generation of coaches for football.  Appointing Southgate gives credence to that objective.

From what I hear Lansbury is keen to sign a new deal at Forest.

All that means is that Forest would get a bit more money. Delph signed a contract with us and moved not long after.  Not saying we will be signing Lansbury just that contracts aren't worth much
