    I hope your correct because this squad could go places. I'd be very surprised if we managed to get Ben Haim.I'm pretty sure he'll either go to newcastle or chelski.Nevertheless,that looks a fantastic squad that could be serious contenders for europe.

    Do Villa see Luke Moore as Champions League quality in the future?. :winkold: I would think so.Luke is the kind of player that will end up doing well wherever he goes.

    I say get MON to sweet talk him and then offer him a new contract.I any of our striers get injured next season he could have a runout in the team and its a very long season.Letting him go would be a bad mistake.Spurs has a pretty strong striker quartet so why cant we have the same?

    Boro can bugger off.Luke's a fantastic prospect for the future and is the best finisher at the club at this moment.His goal scoring record is pretty good too and he's a poacher.It would be a monumental mistake if we let him go.We don't need the money and we are trying to strenghten and build a squad.There's no reason why he should be sold unless it's Luke himself who wants to leave because he wants to start games.

    If MON payed about 9mill for young then he might as well pay 10 mill for sneijder as sneijder is easily worth more than that.Flores doesn't seem to keen on signing him so nows the time for MON to move in and hijack the transfer.If he misses out then maybe we can go for van der vaart.

    My problem with Bramble is this, I spent a hell of a lot of time laughing myself silly at Newcastle on Motd last season for having the misfortune to own Brambles registration and having to play him because they had no alternative. You aren't alone.I was pissing myself when he was linked to the scum and was looking forward to laughing at them.

    oops.I stand corrected. :oops: But he didn't get a regular run out until his 2nd season.so it could be counted as his 2nd.maybe not.

    It will be a pity if he goes.I thought he was just suffering the normal second season slump.Maybe MON wants to clear him out so he can bring in another CM.MON didn't really play him so probly doesn't fancy him.Davis looks a prospect and is worth at least 5 mill.

    Philipp Lahm would be a fantastic signing.He has a strong shot on him and is good going forward.If he comes Bouma would probly end up on the bench but that's wad a good squad does and if we want strength in depth that will have to happen.

    Referees are getting less and less respect.Punishment(cards,free kicks) should be given to those who swear at the ref e.g:Rooney,lampard,scholes......You don't see players swearing at ref and getting away with it in other sports.

    You reckon? Who'd put the ball in the back of the net, Bellamy or Carew? Wouldn't Gabby or Luke do it more often? Not saying we don't need an extra striker, by the way. Bellamy would.I'm not saying moore or gabby wouldn't but i reckon bellamy can play on the left or right of carew in a 4-3-3.

    the mirror claims MON is gonna offer 6 mill for NRC but west ham are holding out and want to use NRC as bait for parker.The mirror also links ridgewell with sunderland.

    bellamy and kewell-yes,bellamy would be a great partner for carew and that partnership would score loads.Kewell is a gamble that i'm willing to make because he is likely to be available cheap and when he is fit he is an assett.You never know,his injury days might be over but of course there is a huge risk. ribery and defoe-yes please.ribery did well in the wc and looks a fantastic player.i have admired him for quite a long time.However the french connection in arsenal is a huge draw for him.Defoe has a good scoring record. I'm greedy aren't i?

    Yes please, i would imagine there would be lots at that price! A random thought, or any news? I forgot where I read it but it was reported that west ham want parker and that he was available for 7 mill.i think it was in the f365 transfer gossip section.

    I totally agree.Quique Flores made it sound like he was being forced to buy sneijder and said he wanted to make his own decisions on players so he can build the team that he wants.However,this could be a tactic to lower sneijder's price.Sneijder would be stupid to join a club where he isn't wanted by the manager.Shevchenko did it and look what happened.
