I listened to the Talk sport interview and I didn't here him say he was just going to freshen the squad up. He was asked weather he was going to overhaul the squad , or just freshen it up a bit . He was given two extremes and gave a pragmatic and ambiguous answer as he did many of the questions he was posed. Pretty standard practice at these PC's . I would of been worried if without even taking one training session he had made decisions about who can and can not fit into his system and ethos.

It’s hard to say exactly how good she is because there’s no other Queens of England currently working that we can compare her to. I mean, I might have made an even better queen. It’s something I mentioned to the careers advisor at school but he just made a face and gave me a leaflet about jobs in data entry.

70 goals for Norwich at all levels... including 17 at Premier League level (2 in cups) 2nd highest goalscorer behind Rooney in the league last season with 15 goals. Naaaah wouldn't want him at the club... second highest' British goalscorer', which is akin to be being the second most handsome man in st andrews . still would improve our squad without question .

I remember Celtic fans telling me MON always left it late in the transfer window and to expect it , so I think that was just his way. Interestingly I was reading Norwich boards and read some posts on there which suggests Lambert is the opposite saying along the lines that he's done most of his business before the other clubs have started.

I wouldn't of thought it would make any difference. We may end up paying more going to tribunal , but bridges are burnt It would be a massive surprise if it wasn't announced in the very near future.

But as a 3-4 mill replacement for the departing Hesky, It doesn't sound so bad.

no substance , But pretty sound logic . Holts agent wouldn't be doing his job if he's not on the phone to Lambert before the ink on the contract has dried. , weather Lambert thinks he will improve us or not is his shout. and he's better placed to make that call then anyone else so I'll happily trust his decision.

I think it's perfectly plausible that he was first choice before the process began, OGS gave a good impression and that combined with fan reaction made him a serious contender . much as I like and loathe this whole saga it's been more compelling than anything we've seen on the pitch for a while. Happy as a dog with two dongs about PL, the only question mark for me is his form for moving on and up. but this is a sugar coated turd because it shows ambition and for him to move on would mean success for villa.
