    To be fair Martinez is a possibly a better man manager than GH, GH tried too much too soon, dropping players, freezing them from squads, plus we had players who knew GH, Warnock, Carew. No-one at our club apart from Charlie knows what type of man Martinez, I think he'll change things but he'll do it with players on side. Thats if he comes which is a big IF.

    He's a few months younger than OGS not a year just checked. But I think that says it all.

    Because he's a crap manager for 90% of the season. Genuine answer Why are Liverpool interested in a "crap manager?" because their crap. But honestly if we got Martinez, I would be bloody delighted, I realised he's actually a year younger than OGS! Look at the comparative experience.

    Doubt the son of Brian Kidd would support Liverpool. Also Martinez remit is simple to stay in the division which he does and in fact finished 5 points clear of us.

    Whats with this Martinez only turning up at the end, so bloody what, MON never turns up after Feb anyway, McLeish never turned up all season, Moyes only seems to start in Jan. If Martinez got the job, he'd get my backing.

    DVIN, been saying it for a couple of days, our target is RM, we are waiting for Liverpool to make their move. Pretty sure RM will chat with RL this time.

    If OGS told Lerner that he's out of the race in tuesday afternoon, why the hell didn't Villa put out press release stating that Vill have decided not to offer him contract before OGS/Rökke/Molde had a chance of going "OGS have rejected Villa"-route. They did via Media outlet to say OGS has withdrawn from being in contention for the Villa job however nothing was offered to OGS.

    A rolling deal, so he's out of contract, Whelan asked him for one more season which he gave.

    CI, how can we get knocked back to something that WASN'T offered? OGS has stated himself we did not offer him the job, he ruled out being considered in the process, he has constantly said himself AVFC are looking at other candidates. This whole OGS saga was built up in Norway. Our media guys were saying OGS is an option however they have other options.

    Dave Whelan has already said we are not big enough for RM So hopefully thats that in respect to RM The decision isnt down to Whelen. I may be wrong but isnt Martinez out of contract at this moment in time? If so, Whelan has no say in the matter what-so-ever. The blokes a gobshite and media whore of the highest order. Spot on, rumours are RM wants to speak to Lerner to understand plans etc, so Dave Whelan could say what he wants.

    Jarpie, Paul Kendrick, the Mat Kendrick for Wigan has stated that RM is more likely to go to avfc than Liverpool!
