Am literally going to put money on a Norwich win, might put £20 on,
I've never done betting on football before.

#avfc Westwood got dead leg and Bertrand suffering from virus hence their substitutions.
-
Definitely not scapegoat. He WAS the direct root of the goal conceded, twice he had chances to clear the ball and twice he **** about. Awful player.
-
Its engraved into the club and we'll never get rid of it.
We'll always concede in the last 10 minutes of games.
-
Presumably Westwood and Bertrand were injured.
-
You stupid **** wank stain of a player, **** cost us that game - awful awful player.
-
Couldn't give a shit about County, its Jack i'm concentrating on. and today he scored and assisted a goal. Thats a big positive for me.

Just to clarify, this isn't a "better fan than you" post, but :
Can I just ask some of the lambert apologists, do you go to the games, particularly at home ? Do you shell out the dollars to watch the shite being dished up week after week, do you sacrifice hours of your weekends to trudge down to villa park in all sorts of weather , knowing in the back of your mind how inept it's going to be. Do you sit there in the cold watching 11 players going through the motions, looking to the bench for guidance, leadership and motivation and getting no return ?
Or do you watch streams , slam the laptop shut after another defeat and get straight back on GTA ? (No offence to GTA)
I think it's far easier to be patient with lambert and his cronies if it's the latter.
Season ticket holder for 5 years. I go to all home games and plenty of away games.
I still support Lambert.

There is no long term. Its treading water on a championship budget for the foreseeable.
Nice to meet you Mr. Lerner.

dafuq are they doing?

I think where the split/disagreement comes is whether or not you think we are making progress this season to where we should be which, for me at the very least, is top 8 and competing for a top 6 finish.
Sorry Mark, it appears i interpreted this part of your post to mean this season. I see you actually meant where we should be eventually.
I was always though under the impression we would be hovering around 10-13th, and at the moment thats where we have been for the majority of the season. Whereas last season we were spending the majority flirting around the bottom.
-
I can't believe how people thought we'd be Top 8 or Top 6 this season..?
-
i want to be where Southampton are/have been this season.

Doing well full credit to Lambert. Doing bad not his fault and find excuses.
If benteke was fit I'm sure you and others would find another reason to excuse club record breaking shit performances.
Nope.
Doing well - credit goes to Lambert, the players, coaches etc..
Doing badly - blame falls on Lambert, the players, coaches etc...
-
So he's 29 eh? I thought some said he was like 32 :'( haha
-
Every club has injuries. Every year we will have a good player out at some point. Such a poor excuse.
Well last year we had Benteke without injury for the whole season. He scored a lot of goals.
This year he has been injured for a large part and has scored less goals. If he'd have been constantly fit we'd be doing better than we are currently, no?
-
Good job he was on the pitch against Stoke away last season though as he played a decent role in one of the goals.
Plus he created the best gif ever on VT.

I was directly responding to BJ10's comment that "he lost no key players and added to the squad"
and although he didn't lose any key players to other clubs, he has lost them to injury, Benteke and Vlaar being the prime examples from last seasons signings and Okore and Kozak the examples from this seasons signings.
-
Haven't we had worse injury problems this year though?
Kozak/Benteke/Vlaar (again), Okore etc..?
-
Factory of Sadness anyone?

Of all the things to try and defend this season I can't believe someone picked our home form.
I don't think he's quite defending it, as you so elegantly put it. Considering he started the thread like this:
"Obviously this year our home form has been terrible, no one can argue with that,"
-
I reckon we'd have won that semi final if he'd have scored that to make it 1-1
