Acting tips from me or not, you could've played the lead in that movie and done no worse. Assuming you can show no emotion and say 1 or 2 words every now and then.

I've always been able to access my photos and videos on my iPhone directly by just plugging in my phone and accessing it via Windows Explorer, as you would with any removable storage

Some are very harsh, some are certainly worth noting, the random holograms; just appear to progress the story no explanation whats so ever!

Nothing to do with it being compared to Alien/Aliens its a poor film on par with Alien Resurrection, even Alien 3 (extended) is leaps and bounds ahead of it.
