  1. New to the league, a ban hanging over him, recovering from major injuries and we've also never really played him in his preferred position.

I'd still like to think we could see him succeed here next year.

  2. We've had some must win/don't lose games and we've failed when it comes to it.

We need to get something today, a draw wouldn't be great though.

If England get the extra place do we have to play a qualifying game if we finish 5th or are we straight in?

If it was put on the kit and they said "we've done this to celebrate the last and only England team to win anything by using the colours from an old training kit" or whatever, then I don't think anyone would have batted an eyelid.

I think the thing that has got everyone's backs up is the poorly worded "playful approach aimed to 'unite and inspire' the nation" some people find the suggestion that the standard England flag isn't "uniting and inspiring" offensive and then you have the other people who believe that there is an agenda behind everything and that there is some subliminal "pride" messaging going on.

I for one couldn't give a shite about it, I haven't bought an England shirt since 1998 and I haven't barely watched any England games in years so they could play in a kit with Barney the Dinosaur wearing a pink tutu on the sleeve and it wouldn't bother me, my interest in England pretty much stops at checking if any of our players might have got injured during a game (if they play)

It's literally been taken by racists.

If anyone is angry about that then they're idiots.

Really, you think that?? I thought it was seriously underwhelming appointment from the start, but typical of the FA to appoint a yes man.

It was but Roy was so bad and frustrating that he seemed so different.

You have to wonder though why Nike have done this. They must have known what kind of reaction they would get changing a countries flag, they are not completely tone deaf.

Are they marketing on the idea that all publicity is good publicity? Was it a boozy long lunch dare between design executives? I can’t imagine this kit is going to be a big seller for them though.

It's happened multiple times in different sports and different areas of life.

I’m surprised Toto’s job isn’t at risk. The car is a bag of shit. From best to 4th/5th best.

They took a gamble on Adrian Newey not knowing what he was doing and it went about as well as expected.

I'm surprised there's not much talk round it. They're becoming a nothing team. Aston Martin and McLaren certainly have more excitement around them.

Brain rot has spread fast in this country.

Genuinely worrying the impact the daily mail, GB news and social media have had on the country.

We are having close to a sensible debate here. Comments like your sacasm, is what outrages people, not the actual subject.

Like has been said, I liked the St Georges on my England shirt, I'm not interested in some random fun colours, buts that's my opinion, an believe it or not, I am entitled to it.

    Good one.

I just think it's because originally it was a St Georges cross, which people like on there England shirts. Now it's just a random cross, an has blatently been changed to make it inclusive to everyone, or so the FA and Nike equality graduates thought.

    Those bastards.

Imagine being outraged at something being inclusive.

Seems 90% of fans aren't happy, VT though, always the opposite end of the majority. 😂

You mean 90% of your lunatic right wing algorithm on social media.

And then in your echo chamber you actually believe you're the majority.

Really you don't have to be tolerant of made up things. That's a bit archaic.

There's probably more evidence of God being real than what you claimed earlier.

I think this highlights CV's point about identity politics. I made a point about identity hiring and within a dozen posts it's a laughable right wing conspiracy.

As CVBurns pointed out you need to be tolerant of of other people's views those on the left do not share this concept.

No no no. You don't have to be tolerant of made up things.

What you said is not true. The current issues with Boeing has nothing to do with this so called quota hiring you've claimed exists with zero evidence.

Well something's going wrong in the engineering department. And as they are a manufacturer rather than commercial airline, I'm sure the pilots are mainly test pilots, reporting issues. Now I have know knowledge of the workforce, whatever the breakdown, but there is less confidence in them now reflecting in the 30% drop in share price.

This has nothing to do with hiring quotas. It's to do with the corner cutting and demand for profits that capitalism loves more than the safety of human life.

Boeing sold their soul when they merged years ago and this is now the price of it.

The fact you'd try to spin this as some right wing conspiracy about hiring less qualified people on some sort of quota is laughable.

I liked Konsa at RB, thought he was really good, but that was with Kamara fit and Carlos/Torres as the CB pairing.

Injuries have killed that off so he needs to get back into the middle. He's hit a bit of a drop in form unfortunately.

    Very much agree.

It's made sense at times but we need him at CB.
