So is all ownership. Part of being owned by a person, or group of people, is that the club is subject to the whims of that individual. I don't like it either, but it's the nature of the beast so to speak.

A government could get bored, a billionaire could get bored, or any other outcome. I just don't see government ownership (if that's what this is) as being more or less reliable that an individual. Except maybe that the Chinese Government isn't exactly going to be voted out any time soon.

    Or Lerner could get bored......oh!

It wasnt me originally. I see where they are coming from though, we were what i would class as peaceful and got slaughtered for it. Wasnt it only a week later there was an identical invasion and it was 'the magic of the fa cup'?

I dont know why it is but the media do have a clear bias against us.

Fully agree mate....the scum media have always hated us.  They now know that we are coming back bigger, better and stronger than ever and they dont like it. They have used every dirty trick in the book to try and discredit our new owner....shame on them!

Hibs fans were assaulting rangers players and fighting amongst themselves. Our fans were assaulted themselves by the baggies scum above them (who were never discussed or punished!), and were more interested in singing in front of the holte. It was ''peaceful''. no comparison with hibs at all.

Agree with everything you say in this post.....but thats completely different to what you said originally!

Just ignore them guys, we seem to be an easy target. Look what happened with our pitch invasion not so long ago, the headlines all across the media including TV news was that it was a return to the dark ages. There's been a few more pitch invasions since then, all of which have been said to be special magical football moments.

    Hibernian?

Guy on SSN standing outside BMH definitely said it is our understanding that the takeover is expected to be completed in the next 48 hours...once ratified RDM will be appointed.

Erm.....Sky Sports and understanding = not a good fit!

  6. Manager about to be appointed and pre-season fixtures announced.  That suggests to me that the new owners have already been given the 'nod of approval'.  Just tying up a few loose ends now before official announcement IMO!

True. It also says that Richards is a defender. Ridiculous.

It also says Gabby is a striker, Lescott is a magician (got that one right) and Bacuna is a very humble guy who deserves a chance with a Champions League club.  Why do we need a site revamp?  It makes me laugh every time!

Exactly. He didn't have to do anything, but even on here there's been some stereotyping generalisations about him. Definitely shows a lot about him that he's happy to do something like this to show his intentions.

I was very a very happy Villan....then I noticed the cheque was signed C Yeung....who the feck is he and his he dodgy?

We've been down this road before. We need to learn from it.

I presume your referring to the MON era?  He just bought lots of crap, recognised they were crap and very rarely played them!
