No goal offside?

So far I'd say Nakamba is our biggest problem, looks really shakey
Yeah, it’s like he has been given a hot potato every time he gets the ball

Do we practice throw ins?

This is the problem with Taylor as a wingback, even with space, instantly looking to go back instead of forward.
I think Targett is more of a liability personally

Nakamba looks panicked on the ball even when there is nobody around
-
We had 5 players within 10 yards of the ball then on one side of the pitch
There is so much space for them if they switch the ball over

The thing with Norwich is they are all in it together and have the team spirit and effort - we had that earlier in the season but now look to have imploded and roll over very easily .
not giving 100% is unacceptable
I wonder what is going behind closed doors

Ultimately, whatever Smith does today can't please everyone - that's not down to him - we simply don't have enough jam to cover all of the toast.
Salvation is only available in the window - until then, we try our best to hang in there.
We're one point off where we need to be.
We could fall below Watford today

yeah, I get your point.....but they lack a durabilty too , for me.....Hence they can't get a win.
Would you not say we also lack durability?

I think this " playing well " statement is a misnomer, if you are at the bottom of the league and can't win a game or gain points, that is happening for a good reason.
Aesthetically pleasing football with out all the other necessary ingredients, is not playing well.
They are creating chances and they are in games.
We are losing and are not creating a thing

My heads still fuzzy from last night but
I thought Jack was going to be banned for this game due to yellow card count
Good point, I thought he was banned too?

then we need to ****ing well Bully them back......stick one of them up in the air in the first few minutes and set the tone.
We have no one capable of bullying especially in midfield
Luiz is a luxury player, would probably do well at Man City as they have about 60-70% possession and world class players all around
Nakamba is powder puff and can’t pass to save his life

I wonder if norwich fans are like this?
Having watched Norwich they are actually playing well
We look totally disjointed with no plan at all
They played us off the park and should have had 3 or 4

Something needs to change. It's not working. How on earth can people moan about trying something new?
I will have a moan about wesley starting because that is persisting with something that hasn't worked. However I'm open to see if a change in formation does have a positive effect on him.
I think Wesley is the sticking point
He literally offers nothing at all, with one up top you need your forward to offer something, he doesn’t at all. At least Kodjia can offer some magic and something out of nothing. This guy is doesn’t offer an aerial threat, doesn’t link up play, doesn’t get in the box and doesn’t shoot
He has been woeful and that’s being kind

Hasn't everyone been crying for this change?
Not with Wesley and the Egyptian Tonev starting

I can safely say we are having 0 shots on target
We are playing with 9 men essentially
Expect aimless passing from Nakamba, Luiz will just watch everyone stroll past him as usual
Wesley up top, literally no words for that decision. No goals in 12 and he gets another start. I would have left him at home
This is going to be tragic

Some people are acting like football itself will end if we do get relegated. We are in such a healthy position, as a club, that it only seems right, to me, that we give Smith time to succeed, as long as we keep within touching distance of safety.
If we go down, we’ll lose Grealish, McGinn, and probably Mings and Luiz, but I’d imagine most of the other players would stay and we’d smash the Championship. Especially if baggies and Leeds aren’t there.
Don’t forget how shit we were in the championship until Grealish came back from injury
We were crap under Smith until then
-
I predict Smith will go 4-3-3 with Wesley up top

Heaton
Guilbert Engels Mings Hause
Nakamba
Luiz GrealishHourihane
Kodjia El Ghazi- 1

Don't the NFL review every single touchdown?
Fans still go crazy when their team score and the right decision happens
I do wonder why it's so bad for football. Is it because NFL fans are used to stoppages and replays and we aren't?
NFL fans are used to sitting around for hours on end with **** all happening
It takes over 3 hours for an NFL game to finish
The ball is only in play for an average of 11 minutes in total

Smith had the same formation week on week out at Walsall, sometimes it worked and sometimes it didnt, Smith had the same formation week in week out at Brentford, sometimes it worked sometimes it didn’t, Smith has had the same formation here, sometimes it has worked sometimes it hasn’t
Problem he has now is he is in the Premier league and winging it by hook or crook doesn’t work anymore.
Busted flush with no plan B
Time to go back to work he championship/league 1 where he belongs, he has no clue what so ever
