  1. Honestly don't get the iPhone 4 now for 2 reasons.

    1) if you want one, and it's a very good phone, it'll quite a bit cheaper in Autumn when they release the iPhone 5.

    2) The iPhone 5 like the other new phones this year are a very big step up, dual core processors, 4 inch and bigger screens, Better battery life etc..

Basically, the iPhone has an annual cycle, but not that many people really know that. People just want an iPhone and buy one when they feel like it. But if you want real advice, which is why you asked here I'm giving you my advice.

You're at the end of the iPhone 4 life cycle, a new one is coming out, they're trying to ship the rest of the iPhone 4 stock at the premium price before the new on is out. Don't be suckered, defo don't listen to Gingerlad, be patient and wait.

If you're gonna buy a new phone, best buy at the right time.

The same annual cycle which is not really happening this year?

The new iPhones are usually released at the 'actual' annual Developers Conference in June, next month. This is not happening and is all about Lion instead and that will probably be released soon after.

The new iPhone is rumoured to be released in the final quarter, but nobody knows what it looks like, or what it does.

Unless all ofthese rumours are true, page after page of them, are they all going to be implemented?

  2. 'kin hell, I am apparently alone in the world in loving Drag Me To Hell. It's Sam Raimi does Night of the Demon!

Or is that why everyone hates it? :)

    I like it.

I think a lot people take it far too seriously, its meant to be bonkers, ridiculous and funny.

If you thinking the first attack by the old hag is serious and you dont think its funny you might as well turn off there

Its like a watered down Evil Dead.

Best thing about Spider Man 2 is the 'evil dead' scene

  3. At last the thread moves away from comic book back to real movies. Planet of the Apes is a classic.

Why are comic book not real films?

I know you admitted your a film snob but i'm wondering why?

  4. I was always a big 'X-Men' fan and am looking forward to that too, even though it will probably be crap. I swear that Fox are trying their hardest to ruin the X-Men in any way possible. One thing that does seem quite promising is the cast. Especially Fassbender as Magneto and McAvoy as Xavier. No Cyclops and Jean Grey is bloody stupid though...

Matthew Vaughn wont **** it up imo, it will be solid.

Fox are trying the upmost to **** up the marketing though, by seemingly putting a 12 year old in charge of the posters.

Vaughn has already had a stern word to Fox about them.

  5. Cheers; 'Fast Five' was never an option :D Hanna looks good alright. Thor has a surprisingly high 7.6 rating on IMDb.

Attack the Block is the best thing currently out imo.

That and Submarine and have been the best films for me so far this year.

  6. They haven't fix one yet. If they can hire a manager who's a total success then good. If not, then how long is your piece of string?

Oh, and we've fallen down so many steps that mid-table next season does seem like an improvement.

    Sigh.

  7. If the board was competent enough, we wouldn't be in this situation.

By your posts i get the impression you not really a fan of anything currently at Villa however....

I'm hoping that you do realise that people make mistakes?

I think you'll struggle to find any club that has done things perfectly every time.

Sometimes it pays off other times it doesn't, its realising your mistake and moving on which makes all the difference. :)

It's not just a mistake. It's not just hiring Houllier although that's partly the reason. I mean when they hired Houllier, they said Premier League experience was required, but his been out of touch with it for 6 years. Why didn't they also ask him if he had a definite number 2 in place? That's just as important as hiring the manager. When more than 3 of his choices (he really should have had a definite choice) theyturned him down and went with Gary Mac (panic much?) who we know isn't really good enough for this level of football. Why would you appoint someone as manager who couldn't even make it to the first game because they still had some work to do in a different country. It seemed too messy and unprepared. There's also times where they could have sacked him and I'm sure anyone good enough would easily gotten us out of this mess with this group of players.

Before then, Randy allowed MON to run our club leading us to announce a major loss this year. Poor judgement on his part. So instead of rectifying the mistake by hiring a person with good financial skills AND football knowledge, he hires his friend (Paul Faulkner) who doesn't appear to have any qualifications as a CEO who hasn't shown any signs of pushing our club forward at this current time.

But still, it seems some are happy with the board that they've splashed out money despite the fact we've announced a massive loss this year, we're going backwards to the point of relegation contenders and also appear to be unsure on what to do next. Is GH staying or not? If it's not announced once this season is over, then they're just delaying the inevitable and I don't see why anyone would be happy with that.

Err yes i'm aware of all that.

    But people make mistakes yes?

    Like i originally asked.

  9. Its very impressive imo, such an accomplished well put together film. With good performances, practical effects, direction and music amusing too.

One of the kids looks like El hadji diouf too
