Randy Lerner is a buiness man first and foremost he has no intrest in football other than he gets a fair return for his investment and for that reason alone he should be respected (or would you rather have Tan as the new owner), he has done wonders for the club and has spent a lot off money (mainly paying for what MON did when he was in charge). The only way forward is to carry on as we are for a few seasons, aim for mid table because sooner or later the top clubs will be penalised for over spending.

As said before "respect is the key" if and when the Arse score just rub your hands, stamp your feet and if you have to shout out make sure it sounds like a cough, it's going to be a chilly night, so you might get away with it, but you might only have to do this on one occasion the other two just clap and shout "Gooooooal Christian Benteke"

I knew there was a reason i kept coming on here: I just love to read all the negative posts about Villa getting thrashed at home; Well i'm holding out for a draw 1-1 and if Benteke is playing he will probably score both. We play well at home against top sides so i'm saying a draw would be a great boost along with beating Liverpoo 3-1 away. SHHHHHHHH dont wake me bro.

Big Sam will be sacked soon, city just played simple triangles 3/4 passes and spread the ball, and WH had no idea (bit like Villa most of the time) what to do. God help us if we can't defend simple triangles that you train for at every practice sesion.

At the end of the day it's all about players desire to win games and not who the manager picks, Lambert can only select players fit enough to play and those who have performed in training; there's 11 players on a side and if 5/6 players don't give a toss them we will lose every time no matter who you play. IMO Lambert is doing OK for us! (OK maybe not at home at the moment) we should see off this season before we call for heads to roll, one things for sure we will be mid-table this year AND THAT'S PROGRESS.

PS: Villa 2 Arsenal 2 (No! i'm not drunk!) Think the lads need to impress the fans at home and they will pull this out of the blue.

I don't care who we put out against Malaga or the score TBH, it would be great just going back to a great stadium, fantastic support and fabulous pitch would cure a 0-2 score line. But i think we steal this game 3-1 to the Villa.

I also thought we needed an AM and back-up GK but having watched all the pre-season games i'm not so sure we do, the lads have settled in nicely and showing they can play the way Lambert wants to play. I think Lambert may well stick to what he has at the moment and if we need to use the winter transfer window he will.

What the hell i'll go for 6th, if we can use the away strip at home games otherwise 9th.
