What I don't understand is this whole permission thing, does the Lyon guy have to get the clubs permission to talk to villa? Or is this just a polite way of doing things?

He's certainly causing a stir on talksport, he's so passionate though I can't help thing he has a different agenda, after all his employer wants viewing figures.

hes adamant Garde won't sign without his number 2 who is currently employed by Lyon, be interesting to see if Villa will pay over the odds to ensure Garde gets his No2???

Much has been made of the merry go round at our club in the media, we all know that, we know what's been said about the upper echelons of the club from various sources.

Now stan collymore has been one of the stand out media men who has openly condemned how the club is being run, what I want to know is, is stan putting his career infront of our club? Is he right? Is he wrong? He's very passionate about what's going on, in fact I'd go as far as saying there is a media circus being sturred up right now, it makes for great listening which I understand is what talk sport is all about.

If houllier had a better health and some charisma then maybe it would be a closer call, Mcleish has his head screwed on and is a shrewd tactician so I believe we are in better hands now than we where!!

there isnt a lot of difference between us and everton tbh, we r very similar clubs with similar policys, we know that theyre worse off than us but we are not that much better off to make a difference... so nzogbia will either come here or go there, only advantage we have is that we can buy him now lol, everton have to wait

Not likely to be a full media announcement on N'Zogbia until at least the end of the week as the deal needs rubber stamping from both ends.

I wonder how many points will separate Villa and liverpool next season? In my view, not many.

If we dont get some replacements in and sharpish I would say around 10-15 points and thats not an understatement, liverpool will be better next season, a much more diverse outfit, shame really cos I cant stand them...

something was seriously wrong with his transfer here from city, make no mistake about it, I dont think he even had a choice, as shown by his distinct lack of desire to play for us, however after spending 6 months up north im wondering if he may have accepted reality and that right now villa is as big as hes gonna get, if he comes to pre season with the right attitude then il give him a chance.
