  1. Protests started to late we have **** ourselves. We should have hounded McLeish at every home game since Christmas. To late now with one home game to go. If he is still here in the new season we have only ourselves to blame.

If we get relegated and I hear the board mention he has experience of getting teams back up, I sware I will use fire!!!!!!!!

  2. When you sell your best players you're going to struggle.

When you've got injuries to the entire spine:

    -Dunne and Collins

    -Petrov and Ireland

    -Agbonlahor and Bent

    you've really got little chance.

Win would really be unexpected tonight for two reasons.

    1. Pressure and lack of confidence

    2. The eleven players are as bad as anything in the premier league, with less shape and quality than Bolton.

Personally I don't blame McLeish - when the dust has settled and people look back and reflect on the team we actually have (and not some warped vision of Gary Gardner being 'real quality') they'll see that Lerner is the real villain of this season.

Still not bad enough to be in a relegation battle

Guys you was looking for someone who still supports McLeish. Here he is!

  3. Protesting is about letting McLeish and the board know we are not happy. At the moment it has been said there is a small minority that don't agree with McLeish. We need to let the media, the board and other football clubs know with a protest in the ground, that under no circumstances do we want McLeish as manager of our football club next season and he has zero support. If people are still thinking this is wrong, I care not, because as soon as we go a goal down at Bolton tomorrow night the fans I believe will go **** mental. UTV

  4. We are a small minority, we are not being heard. There are still more fans happy to keep him, this is the problem. We get carried away on this forum thinking everyone is anti McLeish. Look outside the box, not many can be bothered and are happy for him to stay and give him a chance. Someone said to me yesterday, "he can do nothing in 1 season", it so makes me mad. I told them there is not 1% of progress or development under McLeish. They said "give him time"......arrrrghhhhh!

Most of you have just proved this theory by not even responding to this. I dont think there is more than 25% of fans on here who would protest at a match. This is the problem, we can all talk about how shit he is (proof is over 900 pages) but when it comes down to action we all bottle it. Same situation at the ground. We will be seeing him at the start of next season I promise you. Its only a handful of fans who disagree with his management the board will be saying and we will only have ourselves to blame.

  5. I think its time to put all this crap about not coming to VP because of Mcleish, behind you for the last couple of games and get behind the team. They're going to need us, more than you think.

This will keep McLeish here. Hope you enjoy next season

  7. There were about 25000 villa fans in the ground yesterday. It looked to me only around 25% of them were interested in protesting singing anti McLeish. You would be amazed how many fans are happy to put up with and keep Mcleish for as long as his contract lasts I have spoke to a few. If he is here next seasom we only have us as fans to blame. I Think Lerner and co. dont even think there is a problem with fans hating McLeish.

  8. Randy was truely insane to employ McLeish this season. If he is not bothered about success this season or maybe next, he should have employed a manager who is going to devlelop the team over time, i.e Martinez. McLeish will not be able to develop the team, this is not the way he works. The only way he will make the team better is by spending money and to be honest I dont trust him do do that.

  9. Im sensing alot of defence/love for Faulkner. But is this not the man who keeps defending McLeish and the one at the start of the season who was agreeing he was certainly the right choice and he will be good for the club???

His boss employed Mcleish. His boss has kept Mcleish all season. After a terrible season his boss is going to keep Mcleish as manager.

What do you want him to say?

Lerner is the one with the control and the power.

Im not sure you have any knowledge of business at director chairman level. Faulkner is Randy's number one. If Faulkner believed McLeish was not the man to take us forward, he and his staff could advise Randy with good evidence which we have, to relieve him of his role and im sure randy would have to listen. He is the money man he employs people to run the business as he see fit.

I.e, if Faulkner did'nt want McLeish here with reason, Randy would more than consider letting him go.

  10. Faulkner is a good business man, a numbers man, you can see it in him. But as we all know it take much much more than someone who knows business to run a football club. Faulkner has to take the biggest blame for me, he has completely no idea of football, or running a football club, I doubt he's ever kicked a football. I can just imagine it now in the board room "yes Randy what a fantastic move it is to hire McLeish, make sure you pay him loads keep him here" ????????

Faulkners the one closest to Mcleish - so I imagine his input will be key is Mcleish's removal.

Faulkner does attend the majority of the games - he can't have missed the non impact of Hutton and Nzogbia @ £14m

This is the worry why he wont be sacked. McLeish might be a useless manager but I bet he can blow Fuckners mind explaining the reason we are not performing with no blame on himself.
