How about a 39th game for the Sky 6 only but it doesn't count towards the league unless Man Utd need the points to avoid relegation

The toast needs some good buttering that it presumably got, the egg is looking dangerously on the edge of being over cooked but could be nicely over easy, plate is a bit too decorative for an FEB. No Guinness in sight.

CoFC goes marching on!
But, Leverkusen win tomorrow and it's all over...for Man Utd.

You can get points on your driving license for riding a bike drunk can't you? Even if you don't (yet) have a driving license. Not sure about scooters/skateboards/roller blades.

The descent from 'Best Sitcom of All Time' contenders to naming any sitcom to just random TV shows and then Friday Night Dinner ware rapid.

Imagine starting a "best show" thread and your own one not getting a mention...
I can only judge this in the context of what UK shows I recommend to north americans since I live here now but:
Bankers: Peep Show, The Office - dislike these and we can't be friends
Next level down the rabbit hole: Boosh, Partridge, Dark Place, Nathan Barley, Toast, Snuff Box, 24 hour party people (I know it's a movie but special mention)
Sitcom to satire - you're old and weird: Brass Eye / The Day Today (always start with Paedogeddon)
Oh, you like Friends?: The Inbetweeners
You like Sienfeld?: Sorry, we don't have anything that shit

Had some Spurs mates say to me last season they were glad to miss the UECL - sniffed at it as low rent and because Sunday's wasn't good for them to watch the rearranged PL games.
They've now all done a complete 180. ANY European football is now OK with them. One has frankly admitted that Villa's rise has rattled him and wants the exposure Europe brings. And a trophy (on the assumption they'd win, Conference League that is). I think that's the point - the UECL was sneered at and we were lightly mocked for being in it. Now we might win it all they see is Villa lifting a trophy before them. Another European one at that.
The fear is real.
They’re playing Thursday and Sunday anyway the losers

Side point really now but I’m a big advocate of gold lion and lettering on a claret background because it just looks classy with a blue border and highlights if/where applicable. Now some don’t think this contains enough blue, which is an opinion they’re entitled to, but for me our colours are claret, firstly, and blue, ratio not specified but certainly not 50/50 based on average home shirt.
Anyway, what I don’t think I’ve seen anyone mention is that the current/Lerner badge and going from that the leaked Heck badge are basically blue and yellow - there’s hardly any claret on there! Now we can all agree that those are certainly not our colours, and that kind of moots the argument about having too much claret being a problem.

Current Totals: England 17.375. Germany 17.928
But, Villa win both legs in the SFs, go through and win the final => (2 + 2 + 1 + 2) = 0.875 points.
Leverkusen draw both legs, ending the season technically unbeaten, but go out on penalties; Bayern lose both legs; Dortmund also lose both legs => (1 + 1)/7 = 0.286 points.
Final Totals: England 18.250. Germany 18.241
OR
Villa win one leg in the SFs, draw the other, go through and win the final => (2 + 1 + 1 + 2) = 0.75 points.
Leverkusen draw one leg, lose the other; Bayern lose both legs; Dortmund also lose both legs => 1/7 = 0.143 points.
Final Totals: England 18.125. Germany 18.071
CoFC goes marching on!
Not that's it's relevant to use anymore, but Coefficient FC goes marching on tonight and tomorrow. Any more than one win or two draws between the two German teams over both legs would finally knock out CoFC though.

It's just a smudge. The lion either needs to be claret on a blue background or gold on a claret background with a gold or blue trim so it stands out on the home shirt. This should be obvious to absolutely everybody - apart from Lerner and Heck apparently - and is absolutely fundamental to any Aston Villa crest design.

Goal difference is easy for them to overcome with Sheffield United to play. Most teams hitting 4 or 5 on them. Plus 6 goal difference will be less if it ends up going to level as we'd have lost and Spurs won games.
Fair point about Sheffield Utd but I’ve already included the other swings in GD (by one for a win) for the other assumed results.

Only just realized even a draw would unlikey be enough for them, as Plymouth have a better goal difference by four and have scored nine more goals, so if they draw would basically need Hull to beat Plymouth by five goals to survive. In all probability just need Norwich to make sure they get the result they need to guarantee play-offs, to relegate these
If Plymouth were 5 goals down on Hull who need to go for a 7 goal win to have a chance of overtaking Norwich, then at least they would be concerned about losing to Blues and possibly finishing 7th in that case. And that’s if they’re not motivated enough just to 5th and avoid Leeds or Ipswich.
Really can’t see Norwich quite being safe enough to rest players, even though Wagner has done it before.

In bold if happens it's over. They can't bridge 10pts in last 3 games. 3pts is enough if Spurs get beaten by Chelsea and Liverpool. Let's go Scouse Pensioners
If we beat Brighton, even just one draw for Spurs against Chelsea would leave them not only needing to gain 9 points in 2 games but also having to overturn a GD of at least 6 (assuming a one-goal winning margin in each of the assumed results) or more likely 7 with our GF. So they'd have to beat Sheffield Utd, City, and Burnley by 2 goals each on average.

Think we already have enough points. (Premier League) Season over, in a good way!

I enjoyed it when he said “not even Aston Villa fans understand why that goal wasn’t given”
I mean that’s not true is it Mauricio?
The difference between the two managers is night and day. Unai would only ever blame the performance and make no excuses, while Poch does the complete opposite.
Cant believe I was torn on which one I’d prefer as our manager back then. Poch is a total crybaby, which suits Chelsea well, while Emery has a class that is befitting of our club.

Stephen, I don't think the middle one works cutting off the claret border - so just a more plain old school 3rd one....
Yeah that's really nice (left), thanks!

Now Joe Cole is arguing that it should’ve stood after what he agrees was a foul because it “took away a nice moment”. You absolute **** trumpet.

Poch: “I don’t think even Villa fans knew why the goal was disallowed.”
yeah that’s why I shouted immediately “that’s a foul” and calmly sat back waiting for VAR to correctly rule it out. You **** nugget.

He really commands no confidence at all. We need Emi.
Oh yeah, he’s shit. I don’t really want to blame him because it was Carlos’ mistake and Olsen’s great save, but with with Emi in net the easy pass just goes back to him, so in a roundabout way, as harsh as it may be in this case, it’s Olsen’s fault for being shit before.
