I have always said that it is the club i support and whoever the manager is I will support them too but this is a bridge too far for me. I mean if he is the only candidate left then maybe but now i hear the kinky florist is interested, a respected european coach who is actually desperate for the job and thinks he can restore us to be challenging for europe with only a few tweaks here and there to the squad. I agree with the club that it shud not be the fans that choose a manager because most of us have little or no experience of the proffesional game and the politics that go with it! However we do know some facts, he took blues down twice in 3 seasons even with one of the best defensive records in the league. I read a very good post on here about houllier last year, saying although he wasnt first choice as manager, he was now the manager of the greatest club on earth, so now like it or not we should back him. Surely this applies once more to whoever takes charge this time!! Im afraid we chose to love this club knowing we are not man utd and therefore chose not to be glory hunting pricks.
