I voted Rijkaard. True it could go horribly wrong but I think it might just work beautifully, a risk but one worth taking. Louis van Gaal would be my second choice. Guess I just like the Dutch.

If Carlo has said no and the Board say Premier League experience is a must then for me it has to be Benitez. He is a winner whether people like him or not.

I think Rijkaard would be a gamble worth taking. As steaknchips points out he is widely seen as paving the way for the current Barca team. He's had failures but he might well have learnt from these. I'd like to think he would be given serious consideration and interviewed at least. if its a choice of Rijkaard or Hughes I know which I'd go for.
