Or Phillips think he touched the ball 3 times
Actually committed more fouls than that. Unbelievable

Anybody seen Sterling or Foden? Thought not!

I thought Foden played worse than Sterling
He did but both were poor, as was Kane

Foden I agree with, but Sterling you are having a laugh , time to take the claret and blue glasses off
What did he do apart from score a goal, not beat a single man and constantly lose the ball?

But scored the winner in the last game and performed well
I thought he was worse than average. If he hadn’t scuffed a goal his performance would have been criticised. Foden was awful

I hope Mings has a great game and Scotland win 1-0 thanks to a SJM special.

Comes across really well. He is a better bench option than AEG in my view and his experience will be really valuable. He can of course deliver a decent free kick and corner too. Happy enough with this one

What.
Ha ha. Isn’t he on £500k/week or something ridiculous. Never gonna happen. Move on.

I so want us to sign this kid. I’m sure he is going to be a star. The crazy thing is we could have him for 5 years and then sell him on for massive money because he would still only be 23!
I will never get sick of us acting like a massive, ambitious and well run club. Huge!!!- 1

Being linked to Manu Garcia too. Off to YouTube I go!

Now I know it's the mirror reporting it and most likely means nothing, but they say we're putting together a 30 mill bid for Tammy.
I know it’s an unpopular opinion but I think anybody who pays £30m for Tammy will end up disappointed. I really don’t think he is that good. It’s a bit unfair to label him as a Darren Bent type striker but he really doesn’t have that much more to his game. He also misses a lot of chances. His game does not suit the way we want to play either so I would be very surprised if villa retained any interest whatsoever.

I know that he is naturally chunky but he just doesn’t look fit to me. He is at his best when he is a bit leaner. I suspect that this is his biggest issue and it will only get more difficult as he gets older. I love SJM but I suspect that he is not all that disciplined with his diet.

I said to my missus.
We will play rubbish, if we drew or lost the performance would be criticised.
however, I said that wouldn't happen as we would luck in to a goal and then everyone will be applauding the genius of southgate and completely ignoring the rubbish performance.
I'm open to crystal ball sessions if anyone needs needs their future reading....
This is so true. The English media is totally binary.

To get through a ninety minute opening tournament match without giving Grealish any minutes you have to be an amazing team or be managed by a donut. I’ll let you guys decide which is applicable here. Grealish gets in every team in the world apart from the one that he qualifies for and so desperately needs him!

There’s a big difference between 2 and 30. Croatia aren’t the team of 3 years ago and were poor today. Despite what the BBC pundits are saying we were at best competent against a below average side.
The Jocks will give us a harder game than that. Especially if they get a result tomorrow and their blood is up. It’s like us playing SHA, for them it’s always a cup final and nothing to lose.
Totally agree with this. Croatia are really poor now. They are a spent force. Sterling did ok but not great. I actually thought Foden was poor. Scotland will be more difficult. We will not get far on that level of performance. Southgate is a mug.

That’s the team I would have picked apart from the two obvious ones. Jack will come on and rescue us and make himself undroppable
-
I have a feeling that he will start tomorrow. He seems really happy and relaxed and that makes me think he is in. I really hope so because he is our best bloody player.

I feel so happy and excited by the Buendia signing. We can just chill now and see what else unfolds. Even if we sign nobody else, which won’t happen, I will still be so excited by the prospect of Ollie, Jack, Emi and Bert together. Good times.

I think our interest in Sarr is real. It’s much more likely that we are after him than JWP. I hope we can do the deal. He could be worth £100m in three years.

Sorry to hear that mate. That’s really tough. Here’s hoping for a speedy recovery. Hopefully the villa will be able to spread some cheers with new signings.
