  1. That was brilliant, I managed to get a cheeky thrust on her! Superb day, would have loved to have got in the Drayton (they'd stopped letting people in, had to nip on the tube into Covent Garden, but there was a fair few Villa there) then got to the emirates for about 3.20-30, and it was just completely barmy! I've got a video to upload that seems to be about two yards away from that first one, a couple of us were dressed as beer bottles but we're not in that. Best away game I've ever done, we didn't stop bouncing and the Arsenal fans above us were impressed. Anyone else give the guy sat near the 'Slovenian Arsenal' banner a load of stick? He was the only one showing any passion for Arsenal and he couldn't stand us! Gave us a round of applause at the end, though. My voice has completely gone today.
  2. Now that we're safe and looking to go into the final game of the season in a bit of a 'party mode' (No, that's not me saying this is suddenly a good season, but the feel-good vibe is at least back after Arsenal away), this HAS to happen. Three of us will hopefully be taking a couple each in with us, behind the North Stand goal.
  3. From West Midlands Police on Twitter: I'd do as SouthBirminghamVilla says, and jump on the tube into London. I'll be doing this, despite being dressed up as a beer bottle.
  4. I'm fairly sure I'm going as a bottle of beer.
  5. Still so worried that this could come down to the final day, so hoping for at least battling draw here against an Arsenal side who seem to be a bit missing since that cup final. Either way, can't wait to depart from Brum at 10am on the Villa Prem Travel, should be a cracking day!
  6. I sit in Lower North and I was wondering what suddenly got the Holte End going. Fair play to those lads. We're sat directly in front and next to a couple of the 'Brigada 1874' lads, to be fair they didn't stop singing but it took a while for some of their chants caught on. They also speed through the chants as if they're in a rush. One of the highlights was the kids in the Trinity singing, to which we started "You're better than the Holte End!"
  7. Block 23, Row 9, pretty near the front. Can't wait!
  8. This! I'll be taking two along, well up for this, let's get it going!
  9. Yeah I was looking at that, but I must be thick because I don't know my block or seat number yet - all I've got on my confirmation is: "Away 6 Area 6 6113"
  10. Bought 3 tickets earlier, can't wait!
  11. I'm chuffed that I decided to check this thread - I'd completely given up hope of getting a ticket to this, didn't think they'd last beyond ST +5! Trying to convince my mates to go, too...
  12. Brilliant idea. Shame most people can't shave half hour off their drinking for it. Just start drinking half hour earlier? That way you'll be even more up for a good ol' sing-song! I too have read the article mentioned, it's pretty stirring stuff if you get a chance/find it. I'm well up for it.
  13. 4,000 is our initial allocation, so it might go up to around 6,000 if they all go quickly. I reckon you'll be fine.
  14. Cheers for that, it helps just being able to let him know a time so he can try and get out of work. He may be able to get the whole day off.
  15. That coach sounds promising... my mate might not be able to get out of work until 4 though which would kill that dream before it even gets off the ground. Do you know what time he usually sets off/picks up in Brum, please?
  16. Nothing like the Scruffy's in brum then, there's more goths than guinesses in there! My 15-year old watering hole... Good old days...
  17. Nice one wedge, thanks! Might try and persuade my mates to try the Royal, Rococo's comes with the chance of trouble with SHA fans I guess...
  18. I'm guessing, that with only 2,200 tickets available, there will be a lot of us mulling around Birmingham on Saturday. Where is everybody watching? I'm going to give Rococo's on Broad Street another bash, was a good atmosphere in the face of us losing 4-0 at Man Citeh...
  19. Both brilliant! "You can stick your Charlie Adam up your arse, stick your Charlie Adam up your arse!"
