I think everyone will get behind the ball when we havnt got it and try to get it back as quick as poss. We then have width once we have it back and Ireland can play in a creative role. deffo need two strikers on the pitch!

It is a little frustrating that we have managed to piss Feyenoord off with this, but we do not know the ins and outs. All we know so far is that Vlaar was at Villa park with his agent. Pl and them met that once and we have yet to put on a bid for the player. Pl must have wanted to see how our current guys got on in the states before deciding on whether or not a new CB was needed. He will hopefully return this week and then make his decision. I also personally think that this would have been communicated to Vlaar and his agent before hand and they are the ones whinging un-necessarily. We will see what happens, but truth is - nobody on here knows anything. That much is obvious.

Trees never claimed to be ITK. He knew Randy's movements due to his job but that was it.

Tonyh29, how long ago did you head out there? Sounds like you covered A hell of a lot not sure I could squeeze that into my timescale ... I definitely need to check out the obvious attractions, the Taj being one of them and I know there are various locations where you can stay next to the Gamgees. My gf wants to see elephants and tigers - perhaps not at the same time - and do all that stuff. That's her contribution to my plans haha. I was looking more at the south but what I can gather that is perhaps to geared up for tourism? It would be great if we could include Everist too somehow. How exactly did you make that work? What is there to do and see in the locations you visited?

Got ya in regards to the taxis, I kinda expected that to pretty much be the case. Will definitely bear that in mind when organising. Where, what and how did you pre-arrange your travel?

Just wondering if anyone has travelled to India and if they had any recommendations to make?

I'm looking at going for about 2/3 weeks within a year or so with my gf and would like to see as much as possible. I am looking at actually travelling it, ie, using public transport to get from one place to another rather than taking an organised tour. Both are options, it depends on money and ease I guess but any help/advice would be much appreciated.

I'm guessing you have already booked a holiday by now, but if you (or anybody) are looking at going to Greece, I would recommend the island of Thassos. Beautiful little place, and you can take the tour to see some old ruins in Philipi which is basically being contested over by Greece and Macedonia. Lovely drive to it and you can see some amazing sites, awesome places to stop off for lunch too. It's about 20 mins from Kavala which is the airport you will land at before catching the boat to Thassos. Loads of little towns to visit and has Paradise beach, which really is gorgeous.

I would recommend the Alexander Golden Boutique hotel.

I don't think anyone has any issue with people passing information on. I think it is more the people that jump on and say something that they think is absolutely true and really do claim to be in the know. MM and Gazton are the only ones that I have seen that have got something correct. I believe they are genuinely 'connected' to the club or someone at the club in some way.

Now, comparing what I see JulieB saying and Richard for example (btw you two I'm not beefing at your personally as I have agreed with a lot of stuff you have put in the past) but JulieB is producing information that she has read on twitter or whatever and passing it on here, which is what speculation is all about. I do not however believe that Richard is ITK, it's the way you are passing stuff on that makes it seen as though, you know some stuff. (Sorry Richard). I think there is a bit of blagging there and you tried it to see if you could get away with it and you have succeeded. That is the difference and that is why people are pissed off reading that stuff.
