Not understanding the criticism McGinn is getting tonight. We were deserved winners tonight and every player played their part.

Bit harsh but yes I'd rather have Trez in the side than Traore
I wouldn’t, as frustrating and unpredictable as Traore is he is capable of producing a moment of magic to win a game.

I saw architects plans that were drawn up a few years ago and if the redevelopment reflects those plans then we’ll have a fantastic stadium.
It was the same studio that designed The Holte!

TBF that was only in his early starts. He did cut that out after a few games.
Biggest problem for me was that he looked totally like a fish out of water.
Like many young overseas players he needed time to adjust to the PL.
The game at Turf Moor when he got injured he was dominating a centre half partnership that have been and still are on the fringes of the England team.

Pretty sure they did in his first game. I recall Jack providing him with loads of the ball and Kane doing f all with it.
And a couple of times Jack was in a great position to have an attempt on goal and Kane chose to ignore him and try to shoot from a ridiculous position.
I think Kane is aware that Jack will outshine him and his ego doesn’t like it!

Hopefulyl see him on the bench for Fulham match?
My son’s mate played for Sandwell Town and marked Wes on Friday. He commented how rusty he was so I doubt we’ll see him featuring for the first team just yet.

Didn't close out in the 94th minute on a crosser. That is the very definition of Lazy.
He consistently does things like this. He presses hard when the defenders have the ball because if he wins he it he is through on goal. But every other time he is lazy as ****. He doesn't run back when he is out of position let's men run through. He doesn't close out on wingers.
I'm sick and tired of watching him be the laziest player on the pitch (2nd after Barkley) and people claim he has good energy. He doesn't he has come back looking 20lbs heavier than he did in the championship. He has no agility and loses the ball regularly on unnecessary gambles.
He relies on shaky fouls to bail him out of losing the ball. His passing has been suspect. He shoots in terrible positions. People have a go at El Ghazi for it but he doesn't shoot from terrible angles or from 45 yards out like mcginn.
Up there amongst the posts I completely disagree with.
SJM isn’t at his best but to call him lazy is borderline insanity.

Karanka thank you for your service. You are a villa legend in our eyes
Speak for yourself. He’s just another name in a long list of SHA managers. Can’t understand why you think he’s a legend. He’s just a crap manager.

They'll shithouse 5 points out of that, you see
I don’t think they’ll get more than 3 points at best. Having listened to the captain and manager’s post match interviews it sounds like they’re waving the white flag.
This could be the year the turd is finally flushed

Booked mine at the weekend via the Govt website and went to VP yesterday and got my jab. Felt odd being in the Holte Suite without a pint though.
Feel rough now, I wouldn’t plan anything for the day after if you’re getting the AZ jab.

We will demolish this lot of elbow lickers and their forums will go into turmoil. Honestly the way they talk about us on their forum really is disgusting. They really are a different breed. Much prefer their rivals.
There’s a few that live around me and all of them have some affinity towards Small Heath. Must be a small club mentality.
Explains why a couple of them thought it a great idea to post a video of them breaking into Hillsborough and curling one down on the pitch.

My son is 21 today, he’s at Sheffield Uni - can’t be anything other than an emphatic Villa win

It’s a win win for us - if by some sort of a miracle they stay up the fans have to endure more of Allardyce, or relegation and back to starting again with most likely a new manager in charge.
-
Can’t understand why so many are calling for SJM to be dropped. Dean has said in several interviews that they have asked him to play a different role.
I think he has more than justified his place in the team.- 1

Seriously?
Mature?
"mature" and "SHA fan" are hardly bedfellows.
Mature they are not - I keep getting FB friend requests from one who I went to school with. His cover pic is a Zulu badge, and most of his updates are about Villa.
He's 58 years old FFS.
If you browse their forum it’s evident that the most vitriolic anti Villa comments are posted by over 60’s bitter bell ends.
My area is mainly noses and there’s one in particular who’s approaching 60, every time I see him in the supermarket he’s wearing a Small Heath kit complete with a zulu face mask. He’s morbidly obese and I doubt he could punch his way out of a paper bag.He looks like a billy bunter full kit w****r. I sometimes wonder whether his special needs extend beyond his choice of football team.

I'd sooner have Newcastle stay in the league than Fulham.
There's something about Fulham I don't like, not sure what it is, I just don't think they belong in the top tier.
Whilst i agree with your comments, The Cottage is a great away day. I’d rather they stayed up than the likes of Newcastle and Palace.

I’ve said this before but imagine being them, your dream comes true Villa get relegated fail to get back up and then look like going bust and being forced to sell anything and everything not nailed down including Jack. Their wet dream.
Then a couple of real billionaires turn up, put a Villa fan in charge, Jack signs a new deal, we get promoted, then stay up when we look doomed. Jack signs a new deal, we drop a load more cash and beat the previous points total by Feb.
Meanwhile back at the home they rent from their mysterious owners and have to share with another club they are heading towards League One.
I mean, talk about their chips getting pissed on.
And also believe they can attract managers such as Eddie Howe to take charge of their tin pot club.
Deluded is a massive understatement.
-
Pour yourself a drink and get over to Small Heath Alliance, the forum makes great reading tonight.
Some of the Alf Garnett word actually think they could attract Eddie Howe as their next manager.- 2

They are the footballing version of the spotty, ginger, four eyed kid at school that nobody liked.

I love shit like that, my Leeds supporting uncle and brother are very much in that gang
"What have villa ever done? Leeds got to a CL semi final and finished 3rd in the PL"
"but you ruined your club for 30 years doing that... And villa won the European Cup and finished 2nd in the PL..."
"villa fans, always living in the past"
Special breed
Special Needs is more appropriate

Unpredictable, inconsistent, frustrating. He’s a maverick and capable of winning a match with a moment of magic.
He’ll prove to be money well spent.
