Yeah as well as being moved away from friends and family I've gone from dead centre of the goal to wide of the six yard box. Not impressed at all.

You’ve probably sat somewhere close to me then👀

Let us know how you get on in the relocation window please.

To be honest i have no appetite to renew at the moment because of the way this has been presented to us, it feels like they’re sticking 2 fingers up at us.

Contact the club and let them know that you feel the move doesn't put you in the nearest like-for-like seat, with the information on which seats you think are the most sensible like-for-like replacement.

It'd be interesting to see the response on that.

So here’s today’s instalment in the fiasco.
i received a generic e-mail in response to my complaint basically ignoring the questions i raised and stated that my only course of action was to renew the newer seats and then move during the relocation window.

Not being happy with the e-mailed response i rang the ticket office and after an hours wait spoke to an advisor. I’ll caveat what I’m about to write by stating she did refer to her manager when i asked why i had been moved. She came back to me and explained that in the new layout my existing seats are now aisle seats and have been offered to other STH’s that have been affected by the realignment of the gangways whom previously had aisle seats. Furthermore as our seats had been in the middle of a block it was decided to move us to the middle of the next block rather than shuffle us down a couple of seats. Effectively we have been moved from a prime position in the middle of the goal by a whole block.
However when you look at the new seating plan issued by the club our old seats are smack bang in the middle of a block and not aisle seats as stated. So either I have been sold a story or the new seating plan is inaccurate.

I’m flabbergasted by how this has been handled, I suspect that where we have sat for 25+ years will soon be part of The Lower Grounds or Terrace View package because all other explanations are contradictory.

Thank you whoever organised this fiasco, what a way to put a dampener of the season ahead.

Have already done so, judging by the way this has been handled so far I won’t hold my breath.

I came across it earlier on twitter as someone was posting screenshots of the individual zones.

It is really handy. My seats have moved 11 in terms of number on seats but we still appear to be in same place (two seats from end of row) but it appears the entrance has moved over.

It seems we have been moved and we are directly underneath the TV area whereas previously we were to the left as you look at the pitch.

To rub further salt into out wounds our old seating position remains and someone else will have had their seat position improved at our expense.

It really is a shit show of the highest order.

All these unknowns could be answered though by having a seating plan. I'd be amazed if they haven't yet come up with a complete design showing the seats in place/where the realigned entrances/aisles are. It is unnecessary stress for what seems to be a few thousand supporters and what may in fact turn out to be unwarranted for some as they may well have hardly moved at all.

I do find it shambolic that you are asking people to fork out hundreds of pounds and not be able to show them exactly what position the seat is they are purchasing.

Spot on Mark. I feel sorry for the ticket office staff, it’s not their fault. The lady I spoke to yesterday admitted she had the same conversation with previous callers and couldn’t advise them.

Those responsible for the aggro created by this amateurish generic e-mail communication disaster should be accountable but sadly they don’t give a flying f.

Even in the Ellis years the communication was clearer.

I am in L5 i know my seat number will change....... but the email said that they have allocated the most comparable seat. I was assuming everybody would move...just slightly to the left or to the right....

So when you say us do you mean the people around you? Family friends etc?

Why is 13 seat so bad...have you been split up from friends and family?

Yes split from friends. The issue is why they can’t confirm where the new seats are in relation to where we were. I’ve had my seat from day 1 when the Holte was seated, chosen because of its location. My mate is now 6 seats away and my son’s pal is 5 seats away.

Another mate has moved more central so he’s benefitted by a block.

Whichever way you look at it the customer experience and communication is beyond poor.

Have they actually moved you? Have they said this or have seen a seat map?

I'm lower holte. L5. They've changed my seat number. I'd quite like to know if our 2 season tickets are still physically next to each other.

I was in L5, moved us 13 seats into L4.

    Absolute piss take

  9. Just spoken to the ticket office and my seats that were in L5 have moved into L4. Essentially they’ve moved us sideways by 13 seats so someone else will be lucky enough to sit dead central whilst we’ve moved left of centre.

What an absolute farce, I’ve had the seat since the Holte went all seater. Now we know how they’re upping the capacity…

  10. A pal of mine who’s a nose has recently retired after working for 40 years in finance at a very senior level, including 10 years overseas heading up the operations for one of the high st. banks. It’s fair to say he’s knows his stuff despite being a nose.

He’s a sth at the sty, he’s amazed at just how many have fallen for the bollox spouted by their owners and how few actually understand how a hedge fund works.

Those owners are consistently stupid. Yes they tailed off toward the end of the season, but it seemed from the outside like he was building something that would pay off in time. Rosenior is a smart guy and I hope he picks his next club wisely because I'd like to see him do well.

Unless he rocks up at the Sty

  12. We stayed at the Amex to have a few beers and watch the Plop game. Fair play to the Brighton fans who had no issue with a dozen of us in colours drinking in their stand.
We ended up on a later train from Marylebone which was full of Moors/SHA fans crying into their cans of lager.

So glad Moors bottled it, I hope they lose the cup final next week as well.

Daz the spaz on WM saying they will be in the PL in 5 years with these owners as they have so much money and ambition.

The same owners that sacked a manager in 6th place and caused them to be relegated by their decisions?

Really don't get the love in for them he's just an American version or Dr X.

He means the Northern Premier League

  14. Today was a potential banana skin after 120 mins on Thursday, injuries and suspensions. Despite going a goal behind we’ve come away with 3 deserved points and hopefully no new injuries.

I think pre the Arsenal game we would all have been happy with 4 points so to get 6 is fantastic.

    In Unai we trust UTV

Great performance that, I'm going Tielemans MOTM, don't think he put a foot wrong.

Very close behind was Rogers and Konsa.

As for Ollie, i have no idea how he didn't score. I'd put his name down before Kane.

I also voted Tielemans with Ezri, Morgan and Ollie very closely behind.

You just know Boregate will pick Rashford over Ollie.

Ollie is a machine, absolute athlete that has improved under Unai. Speaks volumes when Shearer eulogises about him.
