Mings is not at the level to be playing international football.

He has a mistake in him, i.e the missed header against Chelsea  and the own goal against Fulham.

I would go as far as saying the defenders that missed out on making the squad are better than him, Tomori, Smalling ect.

Unfortunately Tyrone Mings is not an International player.

I don’t think he makes the World Cup squad for France, which benefits us.

If the topic is about recruitment why aren’t we speaking about the Head of Recruitment - Rob Mackenzie??

Emery gets the time because of his track record and he is a talented enough coach to help improve things.

We have spent £38 million on him and he has been poor and does not look convincing at this level.

I just hope that our recruitment strategy changes.

Instead of signing high profile players, I would rather us sign talented players that can fulfil their roles.

Players like Trossard (Genk) and Bissouma (Lille) before their big moves are players we should be going for..
