Good luck to him. However I would bet that Iroegbonum and Haden make the breakthrough before him.Never been overly impressed with him , too casual for me.

If you are referring to me Mr 24 posts from Galway..Trust me you never want to make up shit on VT , after all these years on here you get ridiculed and called all the names going.(villalad syndrome) and to be fair who wants that constant abuse.
I rarely post about incomings and i am certainly not "making up bullshit rumours" as you call it..then you might know that if you were here for more than a wet minute.
Not in general! Just the usual wannabes. Oh and sorry for not posting enough for you but at least I live in the knowledge that having been born and bred in Birmingham. I retired away to Ireland, content with having actually been present at Highbury, Rotterdam and Wembley to physically witness our greatest day’s. I’ll leave wet weekend’s to the judgemental keyboard warriors.

I never fail to understand the mentality of someone sitting on a keyboard making up bulls#it transfer rumours.Must have very sad little lives.

Mcginn captaincy is another blow to keeping him. A guaranteed starter in the position he can play.
McGinn is far more effective than Carney

Just noticed that Purslow is in Brisbane for the game and he's wearing a blazer with the lion on and just "aston villa" above it. Could be a preference for him.
Yeah was just about to post the same. Simple and effective. I’d be happy with that as a badge

Swap him for Depay and move on. Not been overly impressed when given his time for seniors.Attitude problems with this lad.

Champions League football for one of the biggest clubs in the world playing under probably the greatest central midfielder of all time
He can’t get regular football in a team that finished 14th. Do you honestly think he’d get anywhere near Barcelona’s?

Moaners gotta moan! It’s clean, sharp and a proper shade of claret and blue. There’s an awful lot more going on in the world to moan about. Chill and enjoy yourselves.

Was going on a free of course when we spend £16m on El Ghazi and Trez.
Yeah but that £16m wasted on two players whose goals got us promoted and kept us in this League. Also a couple of nice days out at Wembley. Most wouldn’t complain!

Far more impressed with Ramsey and Tim.If Carney doesn’t want to commit so be it. Rather fawn over players who are 100% Villa than someone who might think they are bigger and better

Something like this with AVFC or Aston Villa or something would be great.
That lion is perfect! Gold lion, remove star and add Aston Villa.

The gap between the top 7 and the rest of the league is becoming untenable now with chelsea, spurs and arsenal Strengthening , Man city and Liverpool will have shot off into the stratosphere with there acquisitions and the likes of newcastle and leeds are signing some decent players.I think we will struggle for a top 10 finish.
Don’t think our signings have been to shabby myself. Leeds have lost their two best players and have signed average players with no Prem experience. Newcastle according to their deluded fans now have the best back five outside the top two ffs. Funny how not one of them is a current international and Targett was our backup fb

What agenda?
Why didn't he get a game under Smith?
The agenda some posters seem to have with Gerrard. Always picking his favourites etc maybe Sanson doesn’t train hard enough during the week. Two managers seemed to have same opinion

I think Gerrard fears his hairline. It's debatabe who has got the better hairline between the two of them and this makes Gerrard feel threatened.
1 hour ago, Tomaszk said:What is he missing do you reckon that would make him a Gerrard player?
Not just Gerrard. Dean Smith didn’t fancy him either.Doesn’t suit the agenda though. Another one to add to the list of ‘brilliant’ players if he was given a chance

De Ketelaere is in Belgium's squad and they're pretty bloody good if you hadn't noticed. He's an exceptional talent and if Leeds get him then they're another team having a better window than us.
Leeds' transfer business has actually impressed me, don't think they'll be anywhere near the relegation zone next season if they get these players in. If we continue to be complacent this window then I'd be quite worried they could finish above us.
Are you for real? They’re selling two best players and replacing them with players who have no Premier League experience. We all know how that ends up don’t we?

Being swayed with the thought of just a rampant gold lion with Aston Villa FC. Simple but effective.

Pope in last year of contract, £25m Chris Woods? Looking at £30m for unproven Ekiteki,£35m for Botman. Nothing spectacular there. Kamara on a free,£17m for Coutinho £2m Chambers, £2m Olsen,£26m for Carlos.Must have some good negotiators ourselves.

The Lion, in the Kitchen, with a Shuriken.
This design is the best by far .Only other option is just a gold lion with Aston Villa FC

Would love Villa to try and do a deal for Nathan Collins of Burnley. This lad is going to the top. Maybe try and use Davies and Hause as bait, their wages shouldn’t be a problem for Burnley. Him and Carlos would be a massive upgrade at centre back.

Rumours he is talking to Beckham about coming out of retirement. Makes sense given we are already a retirement home for players past their best.
Name me one?

I think I’ll put my trust in our multi billionaire owners concerning the clubs finances.Speculating and worrying over player’s wages is totally futile and pointless. They don’t become billionaires by being careless with money.

How do they manage to get the blue wrong so often? 1970’s claret and blue should be the go to pallet!

Like I said he can sign who he likes, I have my opinions on who we should sign like everyone else.
I just worry about our financial future.I think two multi billionaires aren’t worried about our financial future so I wouldn’t lose any sleep over it, if I was you.

Maybe Purslow was doing his job by bugging up Carney. They offered him the best contract for a teenager over a year ago and he seemingly never gave any indication he would sign. Far more excited about Tim, Haden, Archer, Ramsey and Feerey to be honest
