Don’t give a toss about the VAR decision, some people seem more upset about it than the obvious foul on Luiz for the goal. Heavy contact is made on Luiz’s standing leg before he steals the ball, not so much hot air being spouted about that. Also I bet that angle wasn’t shown to the VAR official given how quickly the goal was awarded.Who decides what to replay to VAR ref ?

What’s worrying is Mings performance after he came on, truly shocking. McGinn was anonymous, constantly giving up possession. Olsen less said the better.

Just seen the stand alone lion option which was alleged third option. It’s clearly the best option in my opinion but the focus group dropped it !

Prefer the round. However there is better detail in the blue lion, why the difference?Like the fact that they are also going to use the stand alone lion and name as well. The curved name looks better on the unleashed lion.

Some of us actually do have morals that wouldn’t allow us to turn a blind eye to our owners conduct. If NSWE were responsible for the execution of the heads of three families just because they refused to leave their homes, to make way for a sporting venue, I couldn’t bring myself to celebrate a sporting victory. Some things can’t be overlooked.

Emery for me 100%. I think he’d be more loyal than Poch. If it’s true he’s not available until the WC, maybe offer Terry the interim coach job for the month. He has a genuine interest in our club and actually ‘gets’ the Villa.

Never learns! Same midfield three that doesn’t work, Watkins and Ings that doesn’t work! Clueless, hopefully his last day in charge.

Please be Gold and not yellow ! A gold monochrome version looks classier than yellow

Would like to know if he was overruled by Gerrard regarding Sarr. He maybe saw a need for wide players

What’s the betting Purslow release’s Crest design’s tomorrow to try and deflect criticism from Gerrard?

Relegation battle now unless we get rid now!

Coming from Ireland, I think NWSE should be more than a little concerned about Gerrards friendship with one of the most notorious gangsters and drug dealers in the world. Not a good luck especially when his daughter is dating his son.

Questions should be asked about our physio allowing him to play on. When Carlos was down injured the physio started treating him for cramp which could of possibly made his Achilles injury worse.Wondering if there is a language barrier issue

If Purslow has anything about him we should be waking up to a announcement of his dismissal and the appointment of Pochettino. Levy didn’t mess around with Nuno and look at how that’s worked out. Throw the Sarr money towards the best available manager and paying off Gerrard

Szalai will end up at Brighton and prove another bargain.

We should be trying a straight swap for Caleta Carr

All been delayed hasn’t it? Weird that.
How do you work that out ? They said planning would be in by late Summer. Funny I thought second week in August was still summer! What’s weird is your negativity towards the club you claim to support

How do you know for a fact that we are in talks?
Mine is based on my opinion of the decision makers at the club and how things seem to be going… and also how similar it is to how things ended under one of our previous owners.Yeah these owners are clearly losing interest ! That’s why they’re about to unveil plans for massive investment in the stadium and adding LV VILLANS to their sporting portfolio FFS

I think we are marginally better than Crystal Palace yes but have a poorer manager in charge, West Ham are probably better but then they're also much better than Forest in theory and lost to them. We should have done more in this transfer window and we haven't and it makes me sick.
What you seem to be saying in bold is that last season was acceptable, we can't expect to beat teams that finished 12th because we finished lower, which is fine if you want to finish 14th at best again. And they are not more 'seasoned' than us, if that's the term you want to use, Olise, Eze, Mitchell, Guehi, Doucoure are all regulars and under 25, most of our team are in their late 20s because we have gone for the 'results needed now' approach.
My point is, if the club want to charge much higher ticket prices, expand the stadium to 50,000+, and bring in players in their late 20s for instant results, but we can't expect to beat teams finishing in the top 12, then what exactly is the point? We may as well scrap our objectives because we'll never achieve them.
Don’t know where you are getting your information from but Villa’s average age is 26.3 compared to Palaces 26.4. We however have many young homegrown players very highly rated on the verge of breaking through. Just maybe that experience is needed until these players are ready

Forest signing Remo Freuler for £8m is fantastic business unless I'm missing something? Can't believe it.
Could have plugged a gap of steady midfielder here and not broke the bank. He's an age Gerrard likes as well
Steve Cooper and George Syrianos would be two people I'd be very very interested in getting here if the wheels really come off.
Making exactly the same mistakes we made when filling the squad full of promising young foreign players under Lerner. Never blended and got relegated. Forest’s shopping trolley dash could break them for years.

Only reason he signed is because no one wanted to buy him and we failed to sign JWP, Bissouma and Phillips. 4th best and the cheap option.
its the truth
Or maybe he’s been in negotiations and came to a amicable agreement as he enjoys it at Villa along with his South American teammates? You really should look at following one of the big 6 if you’re after guaranteed glory. No one should be as unhappy as you

Beginning to realise why previous managers and other fans call Villa fans fickle. We really do have a large percentage of entitled fans

Net spend is only a fraction though. Kamara is on 12m a year. Couthino, Dinge, carlos are all brought in on crazy wages as well.
Highly unlikely he is on £250,000 a week at Villa. Don’t know where you get your information, Twitter maybe?

To many snowflakes on here.I’m certainly not going to allow myself to be embarrassed by the actions of the best goalkeeper to pull on a Villa shirt. Beckham ,Infaltino and their likes are the ones who should be embarrassed.
