On the old VT I used to always click on the second-last page in the page number lineup. That way you catch up with the thread and avoid repeating what has been said recently.
I know it's relatively easy to click back from the final page (especially with a faster connection than mine:)), but seeing as I doubt anyone clicks on the first page of a thread much of the time, is it or would it be possible to change the way the pages are offered up?
i.e.e.g. "1,2.......67,68" instead of "1,2,3...68"?
