Sie Posted March 10, 2012 Share Posted March 10, 2012 Not exactly breaking news but David Cage and company (Heavy Rain) have been working on new tech that is going to power their next game. To show it off, they've produced a 7 minute short rendered entirely in real-time on the PS3. It's impressive stuff showcasing not just graphical fidelity but also a striking performance using Quantic Dream's new motion capture setup. Well worth a watch. Heavy Rain, look past the tech and its a bad csi episode mixed with a bad z list, straight to dvd gory thriller. That kara video, again initially impressive but its let down by one thing. Cage's directing and cliched decisions. Yet another naked woman, voyeuristic camera shots etc.....its all very creepy. Cage is a very creepy dude. Dunno, its all nice and shiny when these quantic dream 'prototypes' are shown off then the games that are moulded out of them are so drab and middling imo.
