Greatest day was the carling cup victory at Wembley in 1994 beating Man Utd. there’s been plenty of ups and downs since then: got a really good feeling about the current squad and direction the board are looking to take us in. Was gutted for Smith being let go last year, I honestly think he would have achieved what we achieved last year. the jury is still out on Gerrard but I’m fully behind him and think he has the potential to take us to the next level. He is relatively inexperienced which I think is being highlighted at the moment but he needs the support of every at VP. We need to make it an intimidating place for the opposition again and not hostile towards our own team. This will be a big 6 months but I hope we stick with him or we’ll waste another season.
