Popular Post VillaCas
I'm fed up having to post on a thread entitled "Why Paul Lambert should get the sack" I've real admiration for the man - he's taken on a job that 99% of managers would have run a mile from. Slowly and surely he is setting us up for real success further down the line He's balanced the budget, shifted out the over-paid and under-enthusiastic and has started to build the foundations of a good squad for the future with the right attitude and approach. Yes he's made a few mistakes along the way but with the budget that we have there is very little wriggle-room The performance yesterday against Liverpool shows what we are capable of when we have our first XI fit and healthy - Okore back in the fold and a couple more signings this window and I think we can start to look up the league rather than over our shoulders There will always be those who look for the negative in anything he does but from my point of view, I'm delighted that Lambert has stuck to his principles and not allowed the negative vibes to get him down Three points against the Baggies and the rest of the season will begin to look pretty decent Thanks Paul Lambert for sticking with one of the trickiest tasks in football - I'm behind you 100% Edited January 19, 2014 by VillaCas
Moderator blandy Posted January 19, 2014 Moderator Share Posted January 19, 2014 Sorry. For bizarre reasons to do with Google we can't change the name of that other thread. But we don't need 2 threads to discuss the same thing, or person.
