Simpson is a good player, lambert is really beefing up the squad with good players here. Nothing amazing but we should be in very good shape come the start of the season. He isn`t spending silly money to do it either.

how would owen be going in the wrong direction? Different players are used for different purposes. Not every player is for the long term, some are just for now to help out the squad.

Don`t get that at all. Considering we have sod all up front apart from bent i think owen would be alright for a couple of seasons providing his wages aren`t massive.

I think he is a very good player, but there is only so long he can live off potential and people like me can big him up. This season he is going to have to do it or go somewhere else.
