Actually really like the way Vanguard feels to play, I like the option of combat pacing (even if it does ignore my choice most of the time), I like most of the maps I've played, but my word is the game an absolute mess right now. Weapon balance is all over the place, the spawns are terrible, and there are tonnes of bugs. I can't help but feel they're sat on a great game that they've potentially made unmanageable by introducing copious amounts of attachments that they'll never be able to balance properly. Patrol has the potential to be a good addition to the game but the mobile capture point seems to wreak even more havoc with the spawns.

Struggling with the amount of hand-holding in the game. I'm about 30 hours in now, I know how to give heart, Drippy. I also find it weird how spells just interrupt eachother in combat, for example I'll cast mugshot with Swaine then Oliver will cast Ward or something so his spell animation takes over the screen, when it returns to the battle screen I have no idea whether Swain actually ended up using mugshot, whether I stole anything or not, or whether Oliver's spell just cancelled mine, and if so did it still use my MP?

Rest of the game is great, looks great, music is okay, familiar system is fun, I'm having fun exploring.

Games or areas in games where the camera flips when you go through a door/loading screen, so continually holding the thumbstick in the same direction ends up sending you back through the door you just came from. IIRC the early Resident Evil games were pretty bad for this.

This is it for me. I loved the game but I think they somewhat sent themselves down a cul-de-sac with the story they chose to tell and the way they chose to tell it, which resulted in some pacing issues and awkward clunky segments where I found myself thinking 'this isn't how I would've done this, but I'm not sure how else they could've done it'. It's still so good though, they nailed so many aspects of this game, it just doesn't quite hit like it could have.

I was looking forward to BF2042 but the specialists have really dampened my enthusiasm, I'm just not a fan of hero shooters.

Finally got round to starting Ni No Kuni. Playing with Japanese audio and English subs, is Drippy supposed to be Scottish?

Tried to pick up Mafia 3 where I left off but it's just so repetetive, couldn't get back into it and I doubt I'll ever finish it now, shame for a game with so much potential.

These guys are the real final boss of BB. I guess they are guarding the second best weapon in the game though.

On the subject of Bloodborne I love it when you try something you don't expect to work in a game and it ends up unlocking or activating something, and you feel like you just got a fist bump from the dev. Like 'maybe I'll just put this crown on and sit on the throne for a second..', or 'I wonder what would happen if I combined these two items', that kind of thing.

On the whole I'd agree with this with the exception being the LEEEENNNYYYY mission in RDR2.

Didn't expect performance to be great on PS4 but it's close to unplayable. Gameplay decisions and bugs aside the framerate feels awul, and there's a tonne of input lag which makes it feel like you're playing on a 200ms+ ping.

I tried to do this with the Salernitana game and the full match replays are uploaded with the score in the title of the video, not to mention you have to scroll past the highlights (which also have the score listed) to get to the full match replays.

Interestingly at around 0:50 Ings and Ollie appear to be discussing playing together, with Ings sayig 'just let me drift'.

I don't think it's far fetched to think we'd line up in a 4-4-2 of sorts, it's basically the shape we played out of possession for most of last season with Barkley pushing up to press with Ollie, in fact I remember people questioning why we were playing Barkley as a striker. I'd expect Ings to replace Barkley in that position only he'll likely be much more effective. I think the fact we appear to have been in for JWP supports this idea as well as it's a similar system to the one Soton play.

If there is a release clause as reported then **** him. You don't come out with this 'my club, my city, my home' bollocks having made sure you've written a way out into your contract. That's Delph levels of snide. He plays along with the Mr Aston Villa stuff 'cause it feeds his ego, but let's be honest the guy's tried to leave 3 seasons running and the only reason he hasn't is because our owners are **** brilliant.

Hopefully the squad can grow without him and some players may even flourish without the fear of getting an earful from billy big bollocks every time they misplace a pass.
