Kick and hope again.....very scrappy at the mo Villa.
-
They shall not pass! Eh Dunney?
-
Oh yessssss!!!!!!!!
-
We'll win 2-1 and the resulting euphoria will cloud the issue even further! This is the Villa we're talking about after all.....
-
Yep, definitely too deep. Liked his confidence to turn players and you can see he does'nt dwell on the ball. Once we start to play him in the right position he could create a lot of chances.

Well one thing is for sureMacdonald can no longer be seen as the cheap option. With league placings at stake and euro qualification I think he has the potential to cost us a bloody fortune
Good statement.
Its the long term cost that should be worrying us. Trying to compete at this level on the cheap just is'nt viable.

Must admit, I said we had to take each game at a time in regards to KM......but I'm at a loss to justify it after watching that debacle today! We need someone in fast to sort it out before the rot sets in.
Basically, we need Martin Jol and Randy should be pulling out all the stops to get him. I don't care what it costs either.

Poor showing all round.
Every one of them have been found out today and the goals have ALL been gifts. Cuellar was missed terribly.
-
About time too!
-
How on earth did that come from a throw in near their corner flag?
-
WE're saved...Heskey!!!!
-
Enrique and Gutierrez are absolutely taking the rise! Its definitely not a 0-3 game, but Friedel has looked pretty static.
No problem second half....
-
Oh come on
-
Superb Dunney!
-
How much of an invitation do our lot need from their defence?
-
Oh no....!!!!
-
Oh yes.......!!!!!!
-
Come on Villa!!!!!!! Lets shut those geordies up as early as poss
-
TBH I reckon they'll have their hands too full coping with our pace up front to support Carroll fully. Ash could make run rings round their defence today
-
I'd take mon back in a heartbeat.
If that happened....I'D miss a heartbeat!
No thank-you.

Bradley is acting a bit desperate!
Not at all IMO. He told the truth. His representatives have been in touch with Villa to see what the position is, Villa didn't contact them. He acknowledges that fact & also that they have a very good coach, who is well respected in place already.
He wants the job....simple. If you want a job you put your name about....not much wrong with that per se. Just not for us.
Whatever, he's done his homework.

Liverpool, no question.
Blose scumbag inbreeding monkey people hatred is my birthright.......Liverpool are my fav hates by choice!
Saying that, I don't have much time for the Arse either (mainly due to their hugely hootered gallic leader having his head stuck well up his own backside). Oh, and man city I suppose, but thats just because they've sort of become the thing they hate.

Wish I was going today. All my in'laws are down for a big family knees-up, starting with a huge sunday dinner out......and I'm in the wrong because I've opted to stay at home and watch it on the box!!! Are these people right in the head...I think not?
2-0 Villa.

In the short term, to use OBE's phrase, there's plenty of space for him on the bench in the squad.
The "Rapid" goal that Bannan scored from Albrighton's assist was a gem. K-Mac knows that these two understand each other like Messi and Tevez, and while they have not reached that level by any means, there is a lot to be said for keeping Bannan around the first team and playing him in Europa games, or The Carling and FA Cup games.
He is a fast intelligent player who can score and create goals, there is little to lose in keeping him. If he can put on a little weight and build up his strength like Messi did, we might have something really good.
IMHO he offers more than Salifou or Osbourne and if Sidwell does move on then who else do we have that could step up?
mon was concerned about his size, but did his size matter when he scored in Vienna ? Fortunately K-Mac is well placed to make the call as far as BB is concerned, so now it is up to BB to make the best of the opportunities in front of him.
I agree....three players there who I would automatically pick Bannan ahead of, yet we continue to pay their wages.
Bannan is small in stature, big in heart and you can see plenty in his game to justify keeping him at VP.

That was better, but we still can't put the ball on someones bloody head!
