General Just to recap the last 8 pages of posts if you haven't got round to reading all of them HOULLIER MUST GO RIGHT NOW!!!! Please don't put us through anymore of this mans innocuous ramblings, pathetic gallic shrugs following another defeat because we can't defend set pieces or having to watch the best winger in the country plaing 'in the hole' where he is completely innefective. Also if you allow this man to carry on following his comments last night at Liverpool then you are saying that money matters more than the self respect of the club & its fans!! Don't put yourselves or us in the position where we have to call for his head on the Holte end!! Because on Saturday we will...make no mistake about that & it will not look good for any of the board for the manager the board appointed only 3 months ago to have the entire Holte end + probably most of the stadium calling for his head!! Do it General....its the right thing to do

Ulver Firstly let me say I agree totally about the Tracy Andrews thing. Much as i hate that club that song does not belong on the terraces at Villa park. It only brings us down to the level they've been at for years!! However that said i do think you should change your user name from Ulver to Vulva cos you need to remember that its a football match your at not f***in wimbledon!!! I'm a middle aged bloke, I was there Saturday & i was as drunk as a skunk (tbf i'd had a lot more than three though), I was stood on my seat most of the game singing old great songs that need to be sung more regular, at one point i had my trousers off singing "jeans off if you love Villa" & got absolutely slaughtered by those around me about the size of my knob. And do you know what I HAD A BLOODY BRILLIANT DAY OUT!! The atmosphere Saturday remided me of how it used to be years ago before all seating & over zealous stewarding stopped 'fun days' out at the match. There was not a hint of trouble despite the crowd around me looking like Alcoholics Anonymous had decided "**** the wagon lets go on a piss up". And fair play to the stewards in P7 who handled it all with good humour!! Vulva - if you don't like drunks, singing, bad language or middle aged men don't go to the match!! Spend your Saturdays in a health spa getting your vagina waxed!! UTV & Lets have more away days like Saturday!!!

General - What you say about attendance figures is correct!! However what you need to understand is Villa fans are fickle!! There is a solid core of around 20-25k that will watch 11 dustbins if they've got Villa shirts on. After that there is probably another 5-10k who come under the category of regular attendees circumstances (work, finance, family commitments) allowing! The rest are all glory hunters so unless we are winning on the pitch or they think there is a realistic possibility of us winning on the pitch they won't spend there hard earned on AVFC!! The "match day experience" has improved considerably at VP under Randy's ownership & for that we are all thankful but the bottom line is unless the team is winning & the football is good VP will always have empty seats!! Given the current situation having lost the best manager we've had since Ron Saunders & having sold our best player two close seasons running to a team we're challenging for 4th place is it any surprise ticket sales are down?? Add to that the deafening silence on the appointment of a new manager then it will get worse before it gets better believe me!! General I'm not naive enough to expect you to be naming names or to expect you to appoint a manager hastily or for the manager to be in place within a week but i guess that you have a manager or managers you are targeting?? All you need to do to quell some of these naysayers #& possibly raise the spirits (and possibly ticket sales) is just give us a progress update every now and then along the lines of "we've pinpointed a certain person / we've had several cv's we're looking at / we're in talks with a candidate" I think the work Randy & yourself have done building bridges between fans & the board is fantastic & long may it continue but right now there is a lot of negativity, panic & frustration amongst us. The only people who can quell that is Randy or yourself by talking candidly to us!! Please General?? VTID

General Following yesterdays defeat, once i'd stopped throwing inanimate objects at the TV screen & abuse at the 11 people lucky enough to be wearing the lion rampant on their shirt (but not one of them could condsider themselves to be worthy of wearing that lion rampant i got to thinking. Players receive a 'loyalty' bonus do they not where they are rewarded for honouring a contract or a win bonus for winning a game?? Why don't you consider a similar scheme for the loyal fans of the football club?? for example Yesterday the travelling fans should receive "an embarrassing, humiliating, disgraceful humping bonus". This is how i see that particular scheme working - a 6-0 defeat realises a 100% refund on match ticket & travel - a 5-0 humping realises 50% refund - 4-0 25% - 3-0 10%?? You could fund it by deducting it from the players wage packets!!!!! After watching that yesterday i think this scheme will save myself & many other loyal villans like me a load of money this season??? Also General i do appreciate the fact that since Randy took the club over you have acted as the first genuine interface between the fans & the boardroom. I also appreciate that Randy has put significant investment into the club on & off the park! That said right now is not the time for ambiguous, saying lots but saying nothing bullsh1t PR answers / quotes. Now is the time when as fans we want it straight! You said in a previous response "rumours like that do no one any good" Well General, the easiest way to stop that is to come out & tell us whats going on!! The truth & the whole truth!! I'm off to Portugal Thursday for the tourny. If the kits were on sale i'd have bought one to go out with (the home one not the away one cos black has not nor ever will be a colour associated with Aston Villa). I wonder how many other people would have purchased one for their holidays but won't now they're being released in Sept?? Nike are taking the piss but we're bending over for em to shaft us!!! The Merchandising manager should be sacked, the club should be looking for a new kit maker next season who will get the shirts out in time to maximise revenues AND WE AS FANS SHOULD BE HIGHLIGHTING THAT THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE by refusing to buy a shirt that will cost £45 & only be relevant for 8 months!!!! Shambolic! I thought these days were behind us? Shoulda known better!!!
