Pickle (as in, Branston) on a Sausage & Mash dinner. Talk to me.

Went through an experimental phase of mash potato-ing a few years ago, stirring different things through the mash

Fried onions through the mash - not bad

Fried mushrooms through the mash - very good

Branston pickle through the mash - bad

    | guess it's hard to not be discriminatory when a bigger percentage of the people who carried knifes were black. it's attitudes towards the police too. Watched too many rap videos.

Unfortunately, we do not hold police recorded crime figures on robbery or offences involving a knife or sharp instrument, by ethnic group.

On ‘attitudes towards the police’… black adults make up 3% of the population, yet account for 18% of the stop and searches (2020 data - Gov.uk) - no surprise that there is a mistrust of the police in this community.

  3. Root needs to be there at the end of we’re going to win this.

That Broad over with the three wickets in earlier was absolutely electric. Show that to people who think test cricket is dead, turned the game on its head in an instant. De Grandhomme will be kicking himself if they lose.

In a match celebrating the life of one of the best spinners of all time (Warne) i have to say that I’ve been underwhelmed with Parkinson so far.

Shane Warne took 1/150 on debut to be fair to Parkinson after 9 overs of his test career

2 years on, life is pretty much back to normal, except for at my vets, who still won't let anyone in to the practice, so they leave people standing outside for half an hour, rain or shine, while the pet is inside.

All because of covid, and not because the workshy **** are enjoying the quiet

Dominos still aren’t doing half and half pizzas, this was a change made due to limited staffing at the height of lockdown

Parkinson’s only in because Leach stacked it this morning trying to save a 4 and somehow managed to get concussion.

    The Nathan Baker of cricket.

Haha yes I was being facetious. Out and about this morning so had the radio comms on, sounded like a shoulder injury - bit of a fishy concussion?

We’ve got over 3k tickets but season ticket holders have first dibs, then members etc.

Walsall only opening two stands I think and also giving priority access to sth.

Cheers, I have a season ticket, just wanted to know what demand is usually like for this game!

Ty Bracey has just posted about Xabi Alonso. He's normally quite well connected at VP I think.

I get the impression he likes people to think this. Maybe gets a few titbits due to having a large following on social media and I think maybe a link with Luke Roper (?) every now and again but hasn’t struck me as massively ITK when I’ve heard him on the Villa View. He’s on here anyway so please feel free to correct me Ty if I’m wrong!

I mean tbf he was only 23 at the time. There are a lot of issues with Sureaz but I just don't see how that is one of them.

I was 20 at the time and wouldn’t have done it, don’t think him being young makes it ok to be a word removed

Yeah, the Ghana handball is an absolute non-issue.

Try telling that to a Ghanaian!

Do people actually care about this? I'd have probably done the same.

Not the actual handball itself that bothers me so much, but watching Gyan miss the pen from just outside the tunnel and celebrating so openly, shows a lack of class imo

  12. Racism

    Biting

    That awful handball against Ghana.

Not a nice person and would rather not have him at the club. He was a class player though so maybe he could repent a little by helping Cameron Archer develop?
