It's clear the media want to ignore us after yesterday, I say:
Just ignore it. We have our own game to play and as long as we win it, **** the usual media rocket polishers. 5 finals left. The coaches and players know what history is in front of them against the odds they fought all season. After yesterday even I wouldn't bet against them
On to Thursday
Yep. Even if we do get champs league, the only attention we'll get are things like, how long will they last. It will never end

2nd on MOTD
Fair play tho, lots of analysis about Villa.

I think it’ll probably be the opposite. Arsenal are still in the race. They’ll be even more desperate to batter Spurs
Agreed. Plop and arse still only two points behind the cheats

Wow Sky.
Trossard tracks back to win the ball - absolutely brilliant from Trossard.
Diaby tracks back to win the ball - Villa are having to double up

Going to get a humbling i think. But my word how good a win would be

Liverpool look gassed to me. Maybe hit their ceiling.
Extra motivation for arsenal today

Its our midfield that will kill us.
I'd go 4 5 1 and hit on the counter.

Cash. Konsa. Pau. Digne
Bailey. Mcginn. Tim. Youri. Zaniolo

Think we will beat Bournemouth, Brighton (we seem to do well vs them) and Palace. 9 points. Maybe 3 vs Chelsea, but at least 1 points.
So that's 10 points.
In the words of our Emi - I'm a believer mate
Arsenal loss
Bournemouth draw (on good form)
Chelsea draw
Brighton loss
Liverpool loss
Palace win

7 points may be enough if Spurs lose to all of Arsenal, Man. City and Liverpool and get two heavy defeats.
7 points from 6 games, we can do that no problem as that's beating Palace and Bournemouth and getting a draw at Brighton. Even with an injury hit squad we are capable of that still.
Yep, more realistic

Christ. Its not i dont want to. Our form is poor, ravaged by injuries and a tough run in. Not a stretch to say we wont grt 9 points is it?

We get 9 more points, Newcastle are irrelevant…
We will struggle to get 9 more points imo

Amen. If we win the ECL and finish 5th, and still don't qualify for the champions league, it'll still be an amazing season and I'll be thrilled.
Being a token entrant into the champions league isn't the be all and end all of football.
I would agree with this if it wasnt for the looming PSR issue we clearly have.
Champions League qualification (imo) is essential for revenue building, keeping our best players, which then means being able to launch a similiar challenge for top 4 next season.
Fail to qualify this year and we will certainly lose 1 if not 2 of our key players, whilst other teams strengthen.
It would be devastating not to qualify after the season we've had and would leave so much uncertainty aboit the squad for next year

Yes. Its bloody obvious and you know it is. You have never, ever done anything but disagree with EVERY single thing I say.
So nothing is new. Please put me on ignore and save this tediousness of me having to read your constant digs. Its predicatable and incredibly sad.
Thanks
Enough now, what do you think the line up should be for palace away?

Take the win, but feels like a draw after they scored.
Terrible night for co efficient fc also

I know it's not that important in the scheme of things, but I do find this recent VT trend of having two match threads running at the same time a bitt odd.
So much can happen on tonight's game against Lille that could make practically anything said above totally irrelevant.
Should we start a Bournemouth thread now too.
Or better still, just one match thread at time.
I dare someone to start a Bournemouth thread
