Moyes or Ranieri...I put question on General's thread this past week about Moyes and Ranieri...it was taken off, posted it again...was taken off again...and again...I wonder why. ???

If the big names aren't obtainable then I would be happy with Mclaren from the mediocre side of the list. If he's rubbish we can always sack him.

When people write they think that the way we have handled this manager situation poorly, or that we are looking like a circus, I get this image in my head of a little boy throwing a tantrum because he's not allowed to open up his Christmas present early.

Grow up kids - in two weeks time you will have forgotten about this "delay" which is less than the time Chelsea have taken to appoint their manager.

IF the board are willing to pay compensation to Wigan IF Martinez comes, surely they would pay compensation to Everton for David Moyes or enquire about Ranieri.

I emailed PF Last week to do everything to get Moyes or Ancelotti...how to get them & why....had a thankful reply saying that my ideas had been noted.

Randy flying to to interview 2 candidates, both had premier league experience , don't know who.

In terms of left field with premiership experience:

Ranieri, Shearer, Venables, Souness, Pearce, Zola, Vialli, Strachan or really off piste George Graham.

I think Ranieri would be better than Benitez and much more fun.

I dont think Hughes or McLaren have ever been in the frame for us.

Others I have spoken to have confirmed this.

Am I the only one that's 99% certain it wont be McClaren? Randy's not stupid.

Can you do anything to ease fans' worries about steve mclaren. Any manager out there could really improve us after last season, with the exception of mclaren! I know you can't comment on who we may get but can you rule out someone who would be a very unpopular choice?

I am trying to figure out who could be selected. Some reports said Ancelotti has been aproached by Villa and has 48 hours (sat/sun) to decide if he is interested.

There has not been much news (if any recently) of David Moyes, One thing I remember is that shortly before Houllier was appointed there was not much (if any) news on Houllier.....Does this say anything ?

After I emailed PF about Moyes an Ancelotti, I had a reply thanking me and that ''my ideas have been noted'' ....Does this say anything ?

I subsequently replied back asking for RL to read my email.

I am just trying to 'read between the lines' on certain things.

Then again are any other ex chelsea managers in contention...?...Scolari or Ranieri..?
