I think benteke has better attributes that don't get better with coaching, 1st touch being the main one, chest control especially, lukaku wont learn that no matter how good and what level he plays at

Yeah I think the kind of goal and quality of the goal of Benteke vs Chelsea this season is the sort of goal Lukaku wouldn't score with his attributes, but they are both world class strikers. Can't wait to see Belgium in the world cup

Newcastle are doing their best to give that impression but I don't think he has as much variety in his locker, I think they'll both get better

Last season what was the best result we had against a top 5 team? We beat Liverpool away. That was it. This season we've already beaten two big fish.

Since losing to use Arsenal have scored 12 goals, conceded 4, and have won all five our their matches. Can't handle the Villa, though.

If you include all their pre-season games (scored 7 in a couple), champions league games and the league cup, we are the only team they have lost to! Pretty good result in context.

Happens quite often with me, depends on the diet though. I was once in the countryside with a mate having a few beers in some beauty spot, unfortunately as is often the case with me after a couple of drinks I felt the need to go as the sphincter was pretty relaxed. The team can play much better than this. We've seen them play better than this. Yet, we're still getting results when we're not playing well. It's much better than last season when we would play well and come away with nothing.

Exactly. Some would have us believe we're a terrible team who only gets wins through flukes.

It's a sign of a team with a winning mentality, United over the past few decades have got a lot of (fluke) results playing poorly

I don't think the scientists are working for the governments agendas, it would be far easier for society to carry on regardless without any complications made by these scientific findings. It is important the work they are doing, there are many cases of human environmental impact being reversed as a result. The use of DDT and CFCs being two examples, it's far better to react to solid predictions than to do so once it may be too late.

I don't think Clark will ever be a stand out centre-back.

I don't think his physicality is the problem either, I think his problem is mental.

I don't doubt that he will have very good games at centre-back for us but, he will revert to type in games where he is pressured.

By revert to type, I mean he will continue to dive in and spend most of his time on his backside, instead of shepherding players into non-productive area's.

He could learn from someone like Jores Okore but, the question is, is he willing to learn from someone who is two or three years his junior, somehow I doubt it.

I find that statement odd given how we have seen Okore for about 120 mins and now we wont see him until next season. Okore could turn out to be shite.

Think Arsenal, Liverpool, Chelsea and city look better than spurs in my opinion. Spurs look a bit lethargic in the middle of the park, though they are strong on the ball.

Edit: Soldado doesn't look like a top striker either
