  1. Percy says they’re sacking their manager so a new set of eyes and new ideas for the remainder of the season. Be interesting to see what happens with him next season.

This season is the one where he has begun to believe in what he can be.

    He's being brilliantly managed.

You’re right. It’s the Southgate effect in motion

I’ve heard no pings on my phone or WhatsApp this morning from the in-laws side.

Mind the gap you Yam Yam custard, bowlers

However, I remain classy so far, but this will change after necking a couple of bottles of red with Easter dinner. They’re going to get it both barrels, especially her stupid brother

Need an update now Folly, past 7pm. A few bottles deep - let the ribbing commence 😂😂

  4. Mind the gap… 🙃

Easy work in a game I was fearing as they usually treat us as their cup final. Another record Emery has halted with the winless run at home against these.

3 points on the board and one less game to play. CL is getting closer now.

Great impact by Zaniolo and Duran. Diaby class as well! Loved it!

Man. City, Liverpool and ourselves getting to the finals of the respective competition will surely be enough?

Don't need all English SFs, there are two spots in play let's not forget. Villareal lost 4-0 to Marseille so that balances out the Brighton loss and Sevilla and Betis already gone out of europe. Don't see Barca getting past the QFs and Real Sociedad already out so basically just left to the Madrid clubs and Atletico 1-0 down to Inter.

It’s the Italian and German teams ahead of us we need to worry about. Germany currently only have 4 left. Hopefully West Ham turn it round vs Freiburg second leg.

  6. Was so excited when he signed due to his big rep. Such a shame the injury derailed his whole career.

Probably one for the forgotten thread too as hadn’t given him a thought in about 5/6 years!

  7. I really like him. A bit raw but certainly has the skill set to be a big hit for us. He will be learning on a daily basis. Was fine today - very good in the first half.

  8. Class first half today. Hold up play and finishing was top class.

I don’t expect him to with Haaland being Haaland, but imagine if he won the golden boot 🤩

Well on course for 20+ leagues goals which would be absolutely incredible.

  9. Great to have him back 💪 surprised he did the full 90 but needs must in the end I feel. Hopefully he’s ok for the next 3 huge games.

It wouldn’t take anything drastic at all. One month long injury or 3 game suspension to Martinez, Pau, mcginn, Luiz or Watkins and we’d be in real trouble.

As for Man Utd, momentum is everything and they have it with them at the moment. Luton (A), Fulham (H) Man city (A) Everton (H) sheff utd (H) . They could easily win 4 out of those 5 and if they did would probably be within 4 points of us with 8/9 games to go.

They’re just as likely to drop points in that run as they are to win them, with the away games particularly difficult and we could be double digits clear again. Better off taking it game by game as it’s impossible to predict 5/6/7 games ahead. As you say, anything could happen. What if United get a load of injuries and suspensions? They’d be in trouble too.
