Still hate him?? Open your eyes he's played really well last 5 games, like i always say, he'll never win some people over, even if he scores in the next 3..he misses one chance and some chumps get on his back again I mean he was in the right place on that play. Ray Charles would've tapped that one in. Solid finish though.

God I hate the Donkey....so much. Carew needs to get in form soon, Heskey's touch is awful and he just wanders around aimlessly in the middle of the field.

I think that we will see NRC in the lineup in place of Downing, spreading Milner back out to the wing, but dropping into more of a 4-5-1 with Gabs falling back into an offensive midfield position. Getting NRC achieves two objectives: 1. Getting a midfield player some rest (and one who is probably still lacking in form a bit with Downing) 2. Getting into a 4-5-1, 4-4-2 hybrid something that we all agree is pretty good for the club. NRC has started 5 games and we have a possible 13 points from those 15 (granted wins over Fulham, Bolton, and Birmingham do not stand out, but one over Pool does and a Totty draw isn't hurting us). I could also see us coming out with Carew over Heskey and Delph over Downing, with NRC coming on around 65-70 to replace AY or Milner.

Kevin Doyle acted like he got hit by a train every time someone touched him around the box hit him with a **** bat and get on with it.

Most of the time maybe but today at least every cross is going well over the middle of the pitch and if we'd have someone holding near the back post we'd be better off. Case in point that last cross from Milner which went way out of play.

I think this talk has rather tapered off as I haven't heard anything else of it, but it would be rather remarkable (and very humorous) if Newcastle thought they could better make their mark moving over to the SPL than repromoting and trying to make strides in the Premier League. A 10th place finish is better than a 2-4th place finish in the SPL in my opinion.
